    I would say the same but it's too early to expect anything. Noggit has been here much longer than YiasEdit and the limitations of Noggit are more known. Once we get to take a gander at YiasEdit, then there will be room for conceptions and the like. I as well cannot wait for this to be released, as it seems easier to handle. But you never know, Noggit may have some magic up it's sleeves as well

    While testing the features i thought that the circle isnt always the most usefull tool to texture the terrain. Sometimes it would be better to have another shape. So i started to created the square some minutes ago. The rendering already works, now i have to make the calculations:


    There are more to come (triangle, ...)

    Time is near for DX ;-)
    I´m very happy about that.

    It contains: Map Selection, Editing (Flaten ect.), Texturing, Performance (German Interface) ;-)

    Just watched the video, pretty cool! I'm wondering though, is there a possibility to edit the circle to a more simple shape/color? So instead of that spell circle, perhaps just have that white circle as a brush? Oh and if there is a function to undo/redo that would be awesome!

    Yeah a simple circle brush is desired more than a fancy one, you could have a solid white circle at 20%opacity or have a white circle at 50% opacity with a fully transparent, i really loved the circle you used in one of the previous videos

    Yes, that aint be a problem. Just some radio-buttons in the settings where you can choose if projected textures should be used or just a simple circle

    And Toyoka:
    Undo/Redo is planed, i just need to think about how i could do it. Got an idea of "recording" keyframes every second but its still only conceptual

    wouldn't it be possible that it would only record key-frames when something actually have been changed a bit?

    OK... for now I've started it without starting WoW... but when I click on Kalimdor and then click on a part if the very small map... it shows part of the loading screen and then a black space xD

    Wait until the program is fully released The one you're using now is the old beta version, the newer one which will be released soon will be much better and easier to handle

    There's a possibility to save in the beta version too.

    If you go back the menu there should be instruction about what different keystrokes might do.

    Remember to save the MPQ as patch-x.MPQ

    x indicates random sign.

    Just some information:
    Its now running on Shader 3.0. You can see what it means for the hardware here:
    Pixel shader - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Its basically because i hate that stupid limitation to 64 arithmetic instructions per pixel on Shader 2.0 which is in 3.0 theoretically infinite (the standard says at least 512, but its based on the maximum of your hardware).
