Great work cromon, this is just wonderfull
i'm glad of the multiple .adt loading

do you have any idea of the next release date? i just can't wait ^^

another thing i want to ask, do you think that is possible a copy-paste function for terrains? (like in Wc3 world editor) maybe splitted, one for texture and one for height, it should be a great feature and will make some load of work way faster (for example is possible to make huge landscapes copiyng portions of mountain ranges from old lands, the first thing that comes in my mind is a 1-2 day work for the whole gil'neas region*, but also will be usefull for who want increase the landscape for custom servers)

anyway keep going, your work is great

*yeah, i know that is not a great effort to make a region that will be implemented in the next version but anyway until the expansion comes will be interesting and extremely creative to see how people and fans imagining and making Gil'Neas

Hey! I hope to make a first release somewhen after christmas with the terrainthings. The copy-paste function sounds good, will have a try on that

I made some things to make the handling a bit more friendly. Its pure cosmetic, but i like it . We have a splashscreen at the beginning while the program loads MPQ and the basic UI and a loadingbar when the first ADT get loaded.

Dear Cromon.. It's been almost 3 months (Maybe more) since you've started on this, even the first weeks, I thought this program was awesome..
Currently, however, you've blown me away with what you could do.. It's amazing really.

    Best regards

    truly great!
i have as well some ideas of a powerful UI (and, indeed with a good graphics that i can provide you ), if you want know more just PM me

i will wait for the new release i just can't wait to have everything in my hands

indeed i think that the copy-pase function can be implemented for single chunks, should not be too hard (a custom drag selection will be way greater but i know very well the great effort needed)

At the moment i am working on the texturestuff. That includes pretty everything in MCLY. In the video you see how the textureflags are getting implemented (here: animation of the ground)
    [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCg4Lm2YHsI]YouTube - YiasEdit DX Texture Animation[/ame]

thats basically the implementation of that:

Also we have a nice splashscreen made by Stani from deviantart:

Do not use the Patchmaker.exe, it does not calculate the (attributes) file :P

Today i made the whole changes of MCLY in one nice window, as you can see in the following window. Were getting closer to the first release

The (attributes) file is not necessary.
