Honestly... I read your post and think that this guy is clearly trolling haha...

Yes, game isn't balanced always, and it has had ups and downs (Though seriously, Cata was the REAL down not MoP), to say WOW is less and less catering to casuals? haha This must be a case of grass is greener on the other side (when it's really not) because WOW is probably the most casual friendly mainstream MMO that exists and it is only getting more casual friendly.

That right there made me think this has to be a troll post.

Btw, TBC was FUN for pvp, but the most balanced? I don't think so... I'd put that maybe WOTLK patch 3.4 season.

World PVP may be dying from lack of subs, this is agree with, but it is ALSO dying because PVE gear > PVP gear for world pvp right now... in many cases at least. Not very fun to lose in a duel to that Heroic PVE geared player with nearly 200k more HP than my full Grievous 522 geared toon, even though you know you were outplaying him. ALSO, world pvp started the slow death at the start of Cata when Blizz decided to introduce insanely hard hitting and limitless respawning guards in cities... Not fun to hit Stormwind with a full raid when 100 ally guards insta spawn on you that you need to fight off as well as the real players. That was blizz trying to discourage hitting cities but I think they went overboard. Don't even try to hit Horde or Ally main cities in the Vale as those guards 1 shot kill... Again, it's more Blizz that is killing off world pvp than anything by making NPC guards too strong. There should be guards, but not to the point of futility.

Who honestly play this game other than to get 340 euros per account every 30 days with decent profile not even touching AH ?

The day blizzard nerf 1 little not so known thing by the botting communauty the game ll loose 2 milion sub.

The company i sell gold to, owns 750 wow account just for bottin purpose...pretty sure a third of remaining subs in WoW are botting acc. It´s too easy to make big money in this game.

I played since vanilla came out. I had around 20K achievements, glad, really rare mounts, tcg mounts and all these shitty things. I got break sometimes. Like a went to a free server/played other class or doing achievements and this roleplay so no PvP and PvE. But then I got banned. So I survived that heartattack and few months afterwards my guildmates convinced me to play again and help them. Well I did. But after few months of raiding it was the same routine again like it was before! So I stopped playing it. And ATM I'm just selling golds, mounts and that stuff and I'm fine with that. Maybe I will try WoD when it launches.
    Cheers

I understand the way you see things.
Wow is still a very solid game compared to most other MMORPG games.
I quit wow for League of legends but now I'm going back to wow again, once you try another game you will see how well made World of Warcraft actually is, the amount of bugs and toxic players are extremely low.

I agree with your points about pvp, wpvp is borked and normal pvp is just a ccfest but the pve gearing up part is just wrong, tbh it took me a couple of hours from dinging 90 on my last alt to get to around lfr soo ilvl then ran it with a few lucky drops and jumped straight into flex. I could of probably started normals if i seeked out a guild but really i don't have the time or patience for full time raiding anymore, if you try hard enough though, the option is always there, just people give up at the first hurdle thesedays.

Fair enough lfr seems a bit mandatory but there's always a mandatory way of gearing, whether it be lfr or chain running dungeons for aa week until you got lucky with drops (added on top the chance of someone ninjaering your drop to vendor) or had enough jps to buy a few items. Daily's are a none issue atm also, there is no real need to do them anymore since they removed the rep requirement on the vendor items, plus if you want the rep for them factions for whatever reasons, there's alternatives like boa tokens and such to do cut the daily's out and get exalted in about 3 hours.

Tbh this game has never been in such a casual state as it is now, everything is accessible, what once would take weeks to get to can now be entered/played in a few days, if anything i'd say they're pushing more for the casual playerbase, not the otherway round.

It seems to me like you're burnt out from playing, take a break and then come back and review your points, you'll see where you went wrong.

i can agree with you to the letter, but one relef to me was that you no longer needed to commit to raiding as a pvper alltho you loose out on some awesome stuff ;( and now with pqr banwave its not looking good for me personaly, was hanging around by the rbg/arena carries that came my way p aying gametime but idk about now :S

Also as someone mentioned, vanilla was awesome(at that time) but obviousy it wouldnt work out now, and the world pvp/pvp was awesome, wish theyd added arenas earlier then end game pre tbc patch!, now if you move out of dueling areas you get hit by a 1.2m affli lock or destro who just destroy you when holding the S key to back away

1-3 tbh its not worse but not better either, same shit for pvp, pve youre right about the rat race
    4 your own fault

complaining about "toxic" is just stubborness to adapt to the challenge of social interaction with hard to deal with people. Don't you see that getting high blood pressure from strangers acting stupid is your own weakness? What you should have done is take the opportunity and learn how to deal with those people. It would help not only in wow but in your normal live where the same kind of people will show up.

yea...I stopped reading when I saw the complaint about the how hard the game is getting, lol you think its hard getting geared? I got 530 Ilvl in one day from 495, seems hard I guess...if you sit in orgrimmar/stormwind trolling. In cata you could level 1-60 in 1 day I have done it only questing. The game has been made way too casual.

I've been playing the game since the very release, and i enjoyed the warcraft series down from Warcraft II, III reign of chaos and Throzen Throne. I played world of warcraft all the way through till WotLK where i personaly think the game got TOTALLY smashed, and gear came more into focus than skill did. When it tiltet towards gear > skill i personally got out imidiatly.

I've returned to WoW a few times since to do a lot of achievements, gathered the old legendary's (Hand of Rag and Thunderfury) Collected mounts (172/200 atm) and other "impossible" achieves.

I will say this, privat servers like "Feenix Emerald Dream" have made my day. Its a 1.12.1 vanilla server with 1x XP rate. it basically takes 6 months to level from 1 to lvl 60 like in the old days, the content releases in estimated time as WoW did back in the days. ZG have just opened a few months ago and the servers have been exploding.

I will recommend to all my fellow vanilla gamers to come back and re-experience the moments that i miss so very much from Vanilla, doing full 40 man raids again with old-like ventrilo. Back in the days where skill actuelly mattered and retards didn't say "550 ilvl or don't bother contacting me!". Back in the days where you needed 4 mages at Majordomo to keep the 4 healers sheeped otherwise the boss was unkillable! Back in the days where classes mattered. Since WotLK its all about gear and NOTHING MORE. You can litterly take a group of 1 tank, 1 healer and 8 mages and speedclear an instance facing no obsticals whatsoever. or 8 rogues for that matter. The classes unique ability- and skillsetup have been downgraded to far, and for what price? More lowaged, unskilled subscribers to the game who cares for 1 thing and 1 thing only... ilvl, don't you have ilvl? Gtfo of the game, you don't belong here...

The best game of all time, i have played for 8 years, and the Warcraft series before that for another 3-4 years have developed into a gear and ilvl based game with greedy kids constantly asking for more more more gear and ilvl!

ffs it took me over 3-4 months to get benediction on my lvl 60 priest back in the days... i had to wait in line of 6 other priests to even roll for the damn eye of divinity. And i gladly sad through MC runs every single week because i know i was entitled to get the staff in a few months, and it felt like such a big achievement. Now you can fly your ass to Timeless Isle, kill Ordos and get (not only one) but 2 chances due to a coinflip on the best warforged items in the game... WHAT THE **** HAPPEND?!?! The best items achieveable with 2x chances within 10 mins gametime!??!?!

**** this game to be honest, i love the feenix servers 1x XP, it feels like back in the days And the servers have exspanded very very fast, i even reunited with old guild mates. +1 for the Emeral Dream team.

You forgetting the littel detail that ordos requires the legendary cloak which is a huge grind in raids. It's like complaining about someone getting money in 5min going to the bank while ignoring all the work he previously did for it.

    @OP

I agree about the actual PvP, even if PvP hasn't ever been balanced, it was fun until Wotlk and start to get worse after it.

But about the PvE i think you are wrong. Many people in my guild have a job and are ilvl 575 or more.
Nowadays it's more easy to get gear than before (Timeless isle, LFR, Flex).
I've farmed Flex because until my actual guild, i was in a poor guild that wasn't able to do SoO normal.

When you are in a good guild in a way, i think you pass less time to do the bad contents of the game (no LFR, and less flex).

show me an MMO where you can achieve much in 30 minutes? The problem is the type of game. Not WoW. MMOs are meant to have longer play sessions. You should try downloading some iOS games.
