Already found your problem. Your edit NEEDS to be, I repeat, NEEDS TO BE like "patch-a.MPQ" (EXACTLY like that)

The "p" in "patch" HAS to be lowercase. Change that and it will work, and yes, I tested it JUST to make sure, and it worked.


I'm also going to repeat myself on how to fix it because this IS how to fix it, and it works, so everyone having problems, follow these steps:


IF YOUR MODEL EDITS AREN'T LOADING AND NOT WORKING, READ THIS:

You need to go to START > Folder Options > View (Up on the top, the tab) > and UNCHECK "Hide Extension for known file types". Now go to your data folder (or where ever you have your edits in) and you'll see that most likely the ones not working end in ".mpq" and NOT ".MPQ", so what you need to do is make the "mpq" CAPITALIZED.

OR the "p" in "patch" isn't lower case, which is a must, the "p" HAS to be lower case (clarified in the example below):

Example:
This is WRONG: "Patch-x.mpq"
This is RIGHT: "patch-x.MPQ" (THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT ---HAS--- TO BE. THE "p" IN "patch" NEEDS TO BE LOWER CASE AND "MPQ" NEEDS TO BE CAPITALIZED, ALSO "x" CAN BE ANY LETTER a-z OR ANY NUMBER 4-9 (I think it's 4-9, I don't use numbers).


Then, after you change it, if you want you can go back and re-check "Hide Extension for known file types" so you don't accidentally screw something up.


IF YOUR WORLD OF WARCRAFT DOESN'T START UP PROPERLY AFTER DOUBLE CLICKING THE "WOWME.EXE", READ THIS:

If it does this, you probably have a bad DBC edit, because during patch 2.4.3 some DBC files got changed, so check that out and delete the edit if it's causing it, make sure to test it first though. The most common DBC edit that's screwed up is the spell swap for old poison proc. You can get the new and updated old poison proc for 2.4.3 here:

So yeah, I can load Wow, it's all find and dandy. Then When I go to log in. NOTE: I am using a 2.4.3 Private server. Since ArcEmu got an update out. It does the nice loading screen. I gets to full then. It just stops. Doesnt continue and sits there. Not sure if it's the fix or my server.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Nevermind, I found out that it was my server and not my Me fix that was ****ing up.

It's probably the edit, and not the WoWME. Something probably changed during patch 2.4.3 and you need to re-do the edit, or Demon does. Lol

Anyways, you try just a regular Race to Race edit and see if that works?

Hey all, im new on this whole changing models and stuff thing.
I have downloaded this program and Glitchy's too to swap race, fem orc --> fem belf

I have followed the instructions to download the MPQ i did for the skin and downloaded it into Data folder as patch-5.MPQ

Afterwards i run WoWMe. It all goes fine, WoW appears normally, i hit F8 (nothing shows that it had worked) then type in my pass, log in and find that my orc is still the same :[

I have read that you need WoWME.exe however i dont know what this would be.

Sorry i know this is noobish but well, im spanish speaker (hence my retarded spelling grammar lol) and i have problems understanding abbreviations and stuff :P Help would be appreciated <3

Hi all noob here but i have figured out a way to help all of you in Glitchy's MES go to race changer create new path list ( it says this should only be done if there is a new patch ) i have tryed and test it on my model changes and it worked and becuase i cannot post yet please quote me or something in a new post no need for any + rep or anything just relised and thought it might help some people out

erm... i wonder a thing... is this wowme for patch 2.4.3 or 2.4.2 if it is for 2.4.3 why does it say it it for patch 2.4.2 (the wowme says that.... i get a error...´lolz)
