I am not sure whats going i just get a black background on character and when i click Enter world it crashes help please and ty.

That might mean you are either using an outdated model edit.. or the .m2 files are blank. Replacing the loading screen .m2's with blank ones is useful for loading purposes, but.. yeah.

I had a quick look through the thread/google searched this so hopefully it hasn't been asked too man times. When I run the most recent ME fix (I've got the ME fix in the main WoW folder, edits in data), the prompt box asking me to press F8 before logging in appears, but WoW never loads. Known issue/user related error?

I am running Vista currently, is it due to the file path being in Public rather than the usual C/Program Files?

Can anyone tell me how to use the latest WoWME with Wine? It starts fine, and even says "Press F8 at the login screen, before you login", but when WoW loads it doesn't recognize when i press the F8 key.

The threads with the linux scripts for wowme all contain dead links, so that isn't much help

Eh, it's been a while but I believe you can join MPQ's together

Ok this is getting me into a rage, i just got back to wow and wanted to switch my gnome male to an undead male. This whole WOWme thing is very confusing, where do i find all the darn downloads? i can only find this update and it appears to do nothing..

I am a long time user of wowme, i downloaded the newest one in this thread, when i hit f8 and login it just keeps saying unable to validate game version, any help??

do not use these edits:
DBFilesClient\CreatureModelData.dbc

Are you referring to Creature Display Info, or just Model Data?

Because it kinda is the difference between simple model edits and mount replacements and Model Data, so I'd just like to clearify.
