No one cares about catchflee because we know it's a softban and pretty sure almost everybody who had that problem can play fine now just had to wait a couple of hours. Not days.

We all have that issue and we don't know if it is a permanent ban or not but surely looks like it though. We're waiting to see what happens and if Niantic is gonna post anything official or not.
Maybe we just got perm ban and they didn't care enough to let us know formally. Even though, let's just wait and see what happens in the next couple of days...

Let's not jumping too fast to the conclusion yet. Let see from another perspective.

Niantic is new game developer & publisher, right? They only have two games yet, Ingress and PokemonGo. Lets say compared to any other publishers who professionally can run their server and more mature, like gamevil or gameloft or even com2us, niantic experience of running game server are equal to less or zero.

Due this fact, maybe, just maybe, they mess up their server due to their recent update, and missdelete some of players profile. That's what i saw from many people is unable to login to server, using bot or not.

However every game publisher must held responsibilities by law to inform the players if they cannot going into the server. If not, let say players already spend real money in the game, suddenly cannot play and without any information or explanation provided by game publisher, player is win in the legal side of law. You cannot ban someone without giving any proof if that person violate the server rules. That is including exact log of each players and time when that player violate the rules.

Without this, game publisher can be accused as frauding players, they can easily decide these players are not good without any justification and suddenly ban them without any reason. And that, my friend, is a violation of law.

at first i had this catchflee bann too. after a few hours i received this data send error thing. if you want to know 100% whether you're baned or not...create a new account, name the new character like your old one....
1. you can successfully creat the new character with this name = perma bann / your account is deleted !!
2. name already in use = hopes !

I agree. It is frustrating but I think there will be an update to the app rolling out very soon and if we can access our accounts after that all is well, but if not, then its likely it will be a permanent ban. Obviously none of us are patient as we are botting but in this instance, we are going to have to be a little patient and just wait...

failed to get data from the server IS PERMANENT BAN just niantic is so retarded to let ppl even know about it, if you cheated f e in gta online, u got 7 days/month/24 years ban but never perma at first attempt and they also inform you about the ban, so im telling this to niantic go eat shit and take your stupid game with pidgeys and rattatas in 90% of the world places in ass.

in EU same problem. But i didnt get an email from niantic with the ban message. I think the only that we can do is wait...
