    sorry i dont code in c#, im only a highschool kid, i know only C++, plus he doesnt have to do any big change but add a line of text in preload_alerts. i could do it myself but i dont know how to unpack the game and see what is the name of strange barrel strongbox, and as for rarity as long as he managed to show the rarity of strongboxes in minimap i dont see why can't he show the rarity when i press tab,

    I'm not willing to lift a finger to help, but honestly haven't you HUD contributors ever heard of catching exceptions? The sheer number of issues in this thread that cause the HUD to actually shit itself and die is pretty staggering.

    Mine Doesn't... but then again I don't have many / any problems with mine...And I got it here, I don't add or change code (not good at maths/coding) but I do use the standalone version and not the Garena or Steam rubbish.

    While I agree that it's not the cleanest or the most efficient program out there, it serves it's purpose, you have to understand it went through so many different coders that have different ways of implementing different things that massive rewrites would be necessary to clean it up (I'm fairly certain we never even got the original source code for exileHUD and we are using a reversed and fixed up base that Coyl produced and shared after he quit), we are fairly lucky because we have contributors like doragon who seem to be at home in most of the HUD, but the fact is that the HUD needs to be massively extensible since it relies on modular design, all in all it's a fairly complex program with many points of possible failure and we can only fix it iteratively without starting from scratch, I don't have the time to do that (starting from scratch that is.), and I think neither do the other contributors.
    I urge you to report any bugs you find so that we may fix them.

    The strange barell doesn't have a unique model or sound or even texture, so we can't really use preload to find it, if someone can think of anything unique about it ( assets wise) i'll go find it and add it to preload but until then it's not possible.

    really, but it should have a unique model cause in game its barrel not a strongbox...
