Been having this problem alot of times now any fix?

Make sure you are using the lastest version that doesn't happen anymore with a patch rolled out about 5 days ago I think.

So maphack/zoomhack/bright can't be done without risking ban? Memory reading is detectable now? That means we won't ever see these features back?
Also anyone can tell me if scrolltab/oos macro with ahk is allowed or not, I heard only about alt+f4 macro being allowed so I don't see how these would differ?

The anti-cheat is looking for specific things right now. It is well understood, but patches may change that. All the AHK scripts are in the grey area, but I've never heard of someone getting banned using Gurud's auto-pot/quit script.

The other hack you mention is the Gurud's cheat engine script?
Isn't it risky as hell?

No it is no more risky than using any of these other programs. As I said it has a bypass built into it. That doesn't mean it is 100% safe, but it is the safest way to use those features.

My Gurud AHK script sends an /oos every 20 seconds. I've used it for as long as I can remember playing PoE and never been banned.

If you send too many /oos such that you consume large amounts of server resources then MAYBE you'd get banned, but you'd likely have to be spamming it every few seconds.

People need to stop spreading the stupid misinformation that gets posted to Reddit. Anyone can post a message on Reddit saying you got banned for this program or that and everyone will believe you. The fact is I haven't heard of a single legitimate source of a person that got banned using any of these tools since the AC has been implemented. A number of people saying they never used unprotected zoom/light/map hacks that end up admitting they were using it.

If you don't show it on stream, don't talk about it in game, don't run it immediately after patches without someone investigating if there were changes to the anti-cheat, then you will be very unlikely to be banned solely for running this. If you don't want to attract attention then don't spawn instances over and over again looking for strongboxes. Just play the game and have fun.

I am more or less able to do the same things poehud does in AHK. Also memory writing is as easy with AHK as it is with all other languages (Guru uses memory writing in his "SetGameStateMenu" function too...).
Just because anything is written in AutoHotkey wont put it into the grey area!

o they are, some people still want to see if old versions work. i'd love to be able to jsut look and see what changed and update it myself but i'm not learned enough to even begin to do so atm.

I don't see anything new in the AC guys, so if the hud works it should be safe.
