My guildie said there was a spot South-East side right next to Menethil where the sharks would spawn faster then he could kill hem.

They are all in the same spot and they will re-spawn faster than you can kill them all, there is even enough for 2 people I would think.

I hardly find it bannable to grind lowlevel mobs and skinning them in a leveling zone that's already fully implemented in the game and functional and 100% within "legal" boundaries. If they happened to ****up the skinning loot table for it, it's their problem.

Leveling one atm, just that I don't level "too" much. ^^

As a non-waterwalker, these are my results after 1 hour worth of farming.

69 Savage Leather
29 Deepsea Scales
70 Light Leather
42 Medium leather
6 Light hide
8 Medium Hide.

awsome post thank you for sharing. I went over there with my lvl 21 hunter with 130 skinnning and was able to do it been farming all night

Well, im glad people found this useful, been leeching off this site for so long i figured i should contribute something aswell :-)

30min of grinding netted me 2 1/2 stacks of leather and 1 1/2 stacks of scales. not too bad.
This was with a druid and aquatic form glyph.

1hr total grinding and this was my result. This should definitely help boost leatherworking when the expansion is released.

I would like to add something for the hunter skinners:

*Tame a Cunning bird so you have access to Dash + Mobility and also pick up Boar's Speed. Do not feed the pet; you want him putting out low dps.

*Spec BM and get Spirit Bond.

*Wear no gear except melee, the idea being to have very low pet dps so it only aggros, not one-shots them. Personally, I dual-wield Finkles + Gatherer on a ghetto glove (advantage of 475 skinning TBD). I prefer farming this with no ranged weapon after accidentally killing sharks at ranged and having to move to skin them.

With your pet set to Passive, stand in the middle of the bay at Menethill and send your pet to attack the sharks. As soon as it hits once, send it to another shark. You should be able to round up several per pull (5-8 sharks).

Drop an explosive trap while your pet is rounding up sharks. Spirit Bond will cause the sharks to aggro on you, where the trap will quickly finish them off. I usually have to move about 25 yards for another pull, but the respawn rate is fairly quick without a lot of downtime.

me and a guildie headed down to try this out, just done 20 mins of farming for 25 Savage leather, 18 scales, and 2 pristine hides (im guesin thats lucky xD)
