Farming Savage Leather

What I'm seeing is all the fish that drop "Partially Digested Roe" have Cata leather on them.

So the fish mobs in Thousand needles also drop the leather
But they are very slower to farm but as they are scattered over the whole zone you can avoid other farmers (or GM spys).
If you make the first quests in the zone you get a nice buff with +speed and waterbreathing, helps a lot.

As a side note, that OP gun from blasted lands, is able to pull all the bosses of stocks from the front door. The instance can now be cleared in less than a minute

anyone else noticing a nurfed drop rate? went from 3/4ths of my drops being cata mats, to only getting 1 stack of savage for every 2-3 stacks of heavy/thick.

I logged on to check, and all the leather was gone. I still had my pristine hide and deepsea scales though, this happened to anyone else?

Didn't happen to me yet and i have farmed a ton.
We need more infos here.
How did you farm? Bot or manuel
Where did you farm?
Did somebody see you?
Did you use the blasted lands bow to pull?
How much leather have you farme?
Where did you storage it?
Also US or EU?
This are things that would help others to not get the same problems.

I change places and charakters and try to avoid players who could see me.
I try not to have any leather on my charakters but to put them in a seperate guild bank.
I just started using the blasted lands gun... maybe i should stop that, could jsut make it worse if they found me.

I farmed manually.

I farmed outside Menethil.

Yes, people saw me, since other people were there framing as well.

Yes, I used the bow to pull.

I had about 30 stacks

I sent it from my alt to my main.

I'm playing on EU.

Even though you guys say someone reported this on the WoW forums, I was doing a search and I didn't see any posts with this, maybe I just missed it though

Either I have terrible luck today with the drop rate or this has been hotfixed. I was farming and got a couple of savage and now after 15min not a single one.
