Does anyone have the information on actual drop rates for 25m vs 10m trash? WoWHead just lists "zone drops" by mobs with the same name, so you get presented with how many times it's dropped from the 25m version and 10m version combined over all of the kills from both.

Even when you click on the mob and choose the 10m vs 25m information, all the BoE drops don't show up with the information there. I don't know why, since the WoWHead info collector is able to distinguish between the two, and the website is able to do the same, but they just don't list that information.

Edit: Still not sure about the drop rate, but I am at about 120 trash mobs down, and counting. I'll let you guys know exactly how many mobs it takes me to get a BoE epic to drop, and which one drops. I refuse to give up.

The tent that Torgo's in doesn't seem to block line of sight. I sit on the other side of it and can root the mob right when he is on top of Torgo. If you are having problems getting in position before the other caught up to you, you could cyclone or typhoon him. Other then that, you just have to get the other one rerooted before he reaches you.

This works like a charm on my prot warrior! I messed up at first but I got the hang of it eventually. I still haven't seen any epics yet though.

The tent that Torgo's in doesn't seem to block line of sight.
This. The reason it's difficult to get him rooted in front of Torgo at first is that the pathing is so weird. Because of the direction from which the mob comes, if he is running toward the corner of the room (the best place to go, IMO, and still be able to see where the mob is), then he won't be close enough to the tent to attack Torgo.

    So here's what you do.
You root him when he's directly in front of Torgo. Then you want to run behind the tent (note: You won't be able to see the mob anymore). Begin casting a nuke to break the root. I use Wrath, and I start casting my root about 1 second after Wrath comes off. If you have a high latency, begin casting immediately; you can always try again to get him closer.

That's it. To err on the side of caution, cast Wrath, then quickly cast Root again. The mob will be rooted. Wait a few seconds; if he doesn't attack Torgo, Wrath/Root again. Keep it up until he's standing on top of him.

After you do it this way a couple of times (or die trying), you'll quickly learn how to get 1 mob into position while keeping the other rooted should no Ebon Champions be up (which is really rare).

i can confirm that this is working for mages. pull them, ice block, nuke them while their on the guards, run to back of the room, mirror image and nuke when they start to attack guards again, and repeat

Make sure it's the right guard. There is two kinds. Only on of them agro the mobs.

I can confirm that, as of less than an hour ago (when I hit my instance lockout), this was still working. I did it on my Boomkin, who is now almost Friendly with Ashen Verdict solely because of this farming.

My question remains about the drop rate for epics from the mobs. I have killed about 130 of these guys, and I have received nothing more than the occasional green/blue. I know my sample size is pretty small, but I wonder if Blizzard has noticed people farming the first two mobs and removed the epics from their loot table.

I intend to use this method to get to Honored, anyway, to be able to purchase the Leatherworking patterns for my Druid, so I'll let you know how I fare with drops on my road toward killing the 600 of these guys necessary to reach Honored.

    Thanks for the confirmation!
I'm over 2,000 rep just from this, now, but I'll definitely stick to it. Good to hear I'll eventually get something =)

Another thing I noticed that will make you able to bypass the 5 instances per hour rule.

    1. Kill one with methods shown in first post
    2. Make it reset (I accidently did it by dying and failing)
    3. The second one respawns, and will be able to be looted and repped from again.
    4. ???
    5. PROFIT! (hopefully an epic drop)

Though this only happened me once, and is hard to do on purpose, but if you find a way to reset them after one is dead, try it out,
