I was able to do this on my warrior. Just waiting for an epic to drop now

Apparently you have to be the first aggressor to be able to loot the mobs. On my first tries with my DK, i used the toy car and let them run into some ebon guards; afterwards i'd damage both mobs, but was only able to loot one. And yes they kill those guard pretty easy if you don't damage them yourself.

So here's what i did:
- Aggro both with icy chain after i marked them. then continuously pull one of them out to the corridor so i could exit the instance and reset aggro (i'd still be in their aggro tables or w/e you may call it, but they search for another npc when i reenter.).
- Next, keep one of the mobs busy, so the npcs are able to kill at least one of the mobs. Icy chain the other to exit, rinse and repeat.

Oh and .. no epix so far

Worked great for me, this is much more clear than the other guide. The epics are pretty rare, but it's worth it. +rep

wow the guards wont aggro the two mobs when I drive my car into them, how annoying >.<

While I understand this was posted a few months ago, I just have to say to anyone viewing it now,

This....is.....highly.....impractical ....for ANY reason you'd be in here.

Maybe it was even back when it was posted.


Farm gold with this you say? ...grats spending 3+ days getting that 2k rifle.
Farm rep with this you say? ...grats spending 3+ days getting less rep than if you had jumped into a 3 "hour" pug and downed a couple of bosses since day 1 of lockout reset.


Props to the guy who figured out you could do this on 25-man, but there's VASTLY more beneficial things you could spend your time on.


Maximum investment for minimum payout is a recipe for disaster.

First Mob I killed in the 25 Man version and Stiffened Corpse Shoulderpads dropped.

Since then I've had no luck, but I'm keeping at it with my Mage.
