For the guys that dont seem to make the gaurds aggro:

This has only been tested on ally, dont know 100% how it works for horde, but I guess it works like this:

Ok, the 3 gaurds that spawn at the start, they will either be ebon or vangaurd, As I'm ally the vangaurd gaurds are friendly to me
(when you click them the circle under them is green)
While the ebon guys, (who are originally the horde counter-part to vangaurd) are neutral, as in when I click them the circle under their feet are yellow.

Only the neutral mobs (Ebon for ally, Vangaurd for horde) attack the mobs. So if your unlucky when you walk in all 3 of the mobs are vangaurd (if you are ally) And none of them are gonna grab aggro.

    Hope you guys understood

Once you do it a few times it starts to become much easier. It was a bit of a pain at first.

    Some tips...

    1) if a corpse explodes near you OR your racer it will put u in combat if ur stealth

    2) if you are doing it stealth style, it becomes a bit annoying to wait out the combat timer, so I normally re-zone

    3) as a druid I found a better method to get things done a bit easier -- Torgo the Elder (for Horde at least. I'm assuming there's an Alliance NPC this would also work with)

    4) I use Entangling roots to pull and one will chase me. I run it toward Torgo and root it as close to him as possible without it being in melee range of me (they tend to have a small hit range). Torgo will pull it off me and I proceed to root the other in place. I toss a Moonfire and Faerie Fire on the one Torgo deals with, and keep the other rooted til hes done. Then I just wait til root ends and bring it to Torgo who has conveniently regened. He breaks the root and takes agro from the mob and I add a FF and Moonfire on it again and help dps it down.

Hopefully this little tidbit makes an alternate, and possibly easier/quicker, way of gettin dem epix! I can add pictures if you want but I'm fairly certain it's pretty much common sense how I explained.

Quick question: Do BoE epics drop from the 10 ICC mobs at the front door? If they do - is it the same drop rate as 25 man?

As far as I know, epics will only drop in 25-man.

So far, i've cleared about 20 trash pulls. Nothin but 2 greens and a gray worth 3g.

Took a little bit to get the timing and placement down and it's heavily dependent on guard spawn RNG (whether or not you get enough well placed neutral guards).

The hourly time limit is a pain in the ass...

Got my first BoE epic after 9 resets of farming. The gun dropped. Was hoping for necklace because I couldve used it but the moneys nice too. Patience is key xD. I did it on my druid since my rogues saved. Its annoying when you dont get any ebon champions in it because you must reset since argents dont attack the two we kill :/

Thanks alot for the share +Rep, tried it out for 2hrs, Gotten 2 epics soo far. the Str DPS ring and the Mail caster leggings! guess i've been really lucky.

I did this as DK Blood Tank btw. Instead of using Vanish/shadowmeld i just run out of the instance while throwing Icy Chain on them, to get rid of the aggro. And i also pull them with icy Chain.

    Mage:
Don't know if anyone mentioned it, but pull the 2 adds and frost nova near some guards FIGHTING another add. This will make them attack the ebon guards.
When they get free of Nova they will start chasing you down. Do mirror image and they will kill images and return to guard. Profit!

    Soloable by priest too.
    I just run up there,
    SW:death a guy,
fade when they are near the gaurds,
    then shackle 1,
then max dps on the other.
they never even kill a guard ^_^
    =)

Yeah, boe drops in icc10 are _extremely_ rare. We've cleared icc10 5-6 times and never seen one drop.
