Is there any way you can just download one thing and you will have a private server, And, Once I make a provate server, Blizz keeps patching me. I changed the realmist, but when I click WoW, and sign in, it just patchees. Pls PM me the answer to my problems

Yeah , i had this prob too, you didnt execute the mangons_bc database properly in Navicat... its a MASSIVE database, and takes a long time to finish, but just be patient, took about 15minutes to execute it all for me... on a 2.8ghz processor with 1gig RAM.]

all i want to know is... how do i make my server public...not for a ton of people, but for my friend and me. i am useing american93 with hackpatch and that... thanks in advance!

ok i got it working )

what ya gotta do to go public is this
go to http://no-ip.com and download the software
then go to start button and run, type cmd
then type ipconfig
you should get 3 numbers, now the 1st number is the one you want to set up the no-ip with so you get what i now have and thats pharohwow.servebeer.com the second number is one you need too, its usualy 255.255.255.0 i belive (dont add the 2nd number to the no-ip number as it wont register it as a proper ip address, only the 1st number goes here)

in the wowemu file that will add to registry if you click on it you type under ws_host the no-ip name then add a / then type in the 2nd number so it should read pharohwow.servebeer.com/255.255.255.0 obviously you'll have a diff no-ip name

next in your wow game folder find realmlist and open it then change the ip number to your no-ip name only ie pharohwow.serverbeer.com so it should read
set realmlist pharohwow.servebeer.com
then you and who ever can connect to your server

it is very important to have the no-ip program running or it wont work lol

i've tested this on my pc numerus times and it works well for me if it doesnt for you then i hope you find your solution

i got a question about tbc private server 2.0.10 (http://www.mmowned.com/forums/how-cr...-10-guide.html)
i completed it i got realm running but when i go to realm list i press the realm and it just goes back to realmlist it says at the MaNGOS that the name of the server is TBC Server For 2.0.8 but it gives the same error with 2.0.8
help would be MUCH appreciated

i have this problem with mangos 2.0.8

the client crash when player take ship from auberdine to menethil arbor... when reconnect and try to use that character the client always crash

When I'm making a server, how do I get the WoW client version needed for the emulation program? I'm playing WoW also on legal servers, which means that I have the latest patches for World of Warcraft, but there are things I want to try in WoW that are not avaible for me in legal servers, so I would like to know how can I get an older version of World of Warcraft when my WoW is patched to the latest?

Would be ace if I'd get an answer to this.


EDIT: P.S I have a problem during connecting to the server; It stucks to the "Connected" part and then comes "Disconnected from server" and I'm in the logging screen again. Just thought, that proper versions might fix this one.. >_>

i have a question.. ive download the afg repack i choose the funserver type of A.F.G and created my private server. i open my emu. and play my server. i've create some npc and some other things. after that i save the world with .save after that i close my emu. after a while i open it but the things ive done with my private server was gone. ive done this 4-5 times but the server didnt save my work.? did i do something wrong please help. thank you
