can someone pls explain to me how to add 1.12.1 mangos patches??
where im at is, i did the C:\Sources\Mangos
svn checkout deal. and also did my regular mangos\DB svn checkout.
after i got both those i put the files from C:\Sources\Mangos to mangos\db.
can someone tell me if im on th/e righ/t track?? my aim and msn are milesk11, [email protected] .. if someone could find the time to explain it would help me alot.

Everytime I try to run the wowemu.exe, I get a message saying there is a protection error 196. Anyone know how to fix this?

Okay, i tried what you said about downgrading the patches, by deleting the Patch file in the data folder. But when i open my game again, it starts updating. Should it be doing that, or have i made a mistake?..

And i use Emu. (Followed guide by Impulse)

.. And after updating it i tried typing in the Admin user account: Test1
Password: 1

But it still says:
"Unable to validate game version. This may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program. Please visit www.blizzard.com/support/wow for more imformation and possible solutions to this issue" ..

What the.. ?

And if i need the hackpatch, please tell me. (didnt quite understand if that was what you were saying in the last post :b)

Kyizzle thnks soo much for answering my question b4 about the firewall problem but i dont think its my firewall cause i always shut it down while i play games and stuff. In the WoWemu console it would say

CMD_AUTH_LOGON_CHALLENGE [TRRURENEGADE] version [6448enUS]

Then it would just disconnect me right away! Does that mean my version of WoW doesnt work with WoWemu? If so, what should i do? If not, whats the problem? :confused:

I have ran a 1.11.1 emu server a looooong time ago, and i learned how to on kru2's guide (very good btw =P) but when i did it, i had to completely disconnect myself from my normal WoW account. is there any way (now that BC is out and i have it installed) to make a PS? i would LOVE an answer ^_^ TYVM. UM im using a thing called maras repack and when i load up the wowemu.exe it loads but when i try to log in it closes adn shuts down

Hi all , i wana ask the ManGOS specialists about how can i make multi realms on my server , while i give each cpu a realm as a process.
-and on mangos most of class only quests such as hunters quests for learning to tame are not availble ,so on some warlock pets earing quests.
-can u gimme a link to a Mangos weeb site with reg page and look like the original wow site(www.wow-europe.com) ?

ok i havnt found an answer to my problem as yet on the foums so i'll post it and see what happens

i'm using americans 2.5 repack (the one for testing) and i've modded it so i can use everything i want more or less and i can go solo on my pc only play no problems, but when i try to go public i have lots of problems

the thing i get is that realm selection loop when it goes to character selection screen (the brown screen pops up asking me to select the realm, at the bottom of this screen it has the tabs for english, spanish, etc)

now i've changed the ip addy in wowemu file in my server files, i've changed the realmlist file accordingly in my wow game files, i change the ip addy in that other file in the game files like i've seen people told to do and it just doesnt want to know what so ever so i change it back to 127.0.0.1 and it loads up as before with the loop

i've opened ports 8080 8085 37somthing somthing on my router like i've seen posted for incomming (should really do outgoing too i guess)

i get no conflicts with my firewall or such programs

hamatchi wont load on my pc so its not an option and i've used noip.com to get pharohwow.no-ip.biz which i've used

i've added pharohwow.no-ip.biz to the host file in windows/system32/etc/hosts and added my own ip there too so it recognises both

and still i get the realm loop, so what am i doin wrong or have i already done it and need to go back and rechange things back or is there that one lil thing i just havnt done

ok so like here is my problem... i have completed all my steps for creating mysql and all that ....... now when i try to load mangos a little blue box comes up called mangos restarter v2.3 and says it restarting...... ok after about twoo min a black box pops up and the blue box says crashed! Restarting......... Restarting........., now at the same time a window pops up labeld Error! Log File could not be found!and it reads Error! Please check the name of the MaNGOS log file as defined in restart.conf.If this is correct please ensure that the ManGOS root directory is set correctly.

Any help will be greatly appriciated =)..... i really want to get this server loaded up, i cant wait to play.
