Just wondering, can u update a PS? cause i doungraded it to v1.2 then extracted maps, and i want a 1.11.1 server. Can i patch my server after it is all set up, cus i cant find a hackpatch for v1.2, lol.

I know that this question in on the FAQ section of this thread, but the answer there did not solve the problem for me. On Amrican93's repack when I go to use the Batcreator tool, the window disapeers in like half a second and does not anything. I have clicked into the separte wow folder copy I made every time I tried it. Are there any other meathods I should try to make it work?

Yes, i was having the same problem, as are many and what i did to fix this annoying problem was reinstall the game. The problem lies within the downgrading, due to Blizzard's incessant need to make our lives harder, the have included with TBC a nifty lil update to make Repair.exe downgrade no further than 2.0. There may be other ways but if you want to save yourself painstaking head aches, and much frustration i suggest the re-install. Just make sure after you hav installed the game, DO NOT RUN IT! So it will stay a nice low version.

Gonna re-up my never answered question. If I have regular wow installed will downloading emu ie. magos to make wow and such get me baned, or are they dectectable, or will they get in the way of my real wow stuffs or nah??

With the Yawe emu for v2.0.10 BC and I get connected but says I cant validate game version. I had this problem when I played on Blizz servers but I fixed that with the blizz repair thing so I tried that and it didnt work.

I downloaded the 1.11.0 patch to a completely unpatched version of wow (I just reinstalled it), but every time I try to run it, it says I need that version of wow to run it! Please adivse!

Check the name of your darabase. If its realmd_bc then you must fix that. Cause you must have the right words for it to connect.

If your getting that error it means thats no 2.0.10. When you get the "Unable to Validate Game Version" that means its eathier to low or to high of an version of wow. And 2.0.10 being the highest means its couldnt be an lower one. I think YAWE runs off the beta (2.0.0.6666) or something. Just delete patch.mpq and repair. It'll go to a early version. Try that and I think it'll work.

If your getting a sound and some error that wants you to send it back. That means something must be missing. Eathier one of you .mpq files doesn't match the versions of the others or you don't have it to the lower version. And another HUGE error could be you don't have 1.11.0 hackpatch installed. To go on 1.11.0 versions of wow you must have hackpatch. You can get hackpatch here.

When you can't connect and it does "add socket 144" that means its trying to connect but somehow can't. You may have an active firewall. Or check your files and make sure you don't have your realmd database as "realmd_bc".

Its in the dbc of mangos and such. I believe its also in your wow directory folder. Try to run "search" and put in areatable. If you downloaded the full mangos you should have it. It'll be like under this
C:\Documents and Settings\kyle\Desktop\Redemption\system\dbc

"Redemption is just the folder of mine. Think of that Redemption as a Mangos folder. So yours would be w/e you made the folder with all the info in it. You'd go to that then system, then dbc and you should see areatable."
