Please American93. I nee your help since your the mangos expert... or...umm anyone just help me. When im trying to connect to my server it only gets: "unable to connect" =(. And i checked forums and friends and they say you must have SQLyog Cummunity open while your playing. (First quetion: Is this true?) But when im trying to log in on it it says: Error no. 2003 Cannot connect to mySQL server on "localhost" (10061) =(( And this is really sad. (Second question: How can i connect to my SQLyog?) Thanks alot for help =)

And By the way, I DON'T have any firewall blocking the program.

Can someone give me a good guide on how to effectively create a mangos quest? It seems that i have made the quest, put it in the template, added the creature_questrelations, and now i dont know where to go from there. I think i have to put a specific flag# on an npc or something. Im lost from there.

If anyone has a guide to make a MANGOS quest from the beginning, please hook me up

hello. okay, ive looked around these forums trying to make a private server (im a complete noob to this kind of stuff) and im not sure if i should make an emu or mangos server, because mangos sounds really confusing but it seems like you can do more with it, and also i have yet to find an effective emu private server guide on mmowned. could someone please help me? thank youu.

Im having a problem connecting to my server from my friends computer on the network, I had connect fine on my computer, but on his when it comes to the Realm list I click [Okay] and it takes me right back to the realm list, im using MaNGOs v2.0.10, if I could get some assistance I would appreciate it

First off, if these questions have been awnsered elsewhere, I am sorry. I have been unable to find an effective solution.

=What I have=
-I set up a 2.0.10 mangos server using the silvermoon db.
-I am using navicat as my database manager.
-I have my server setup on a seperate pc on my lan.
-I am using no-ip to make my server accessible over the web.
-Ports 3724, 8085, 8245 and 3306 are all forwarded to my server's pc.

=My issues=
-If I change the address field inside navicat under realmlist to my address for no-ip, I am unable to login on my other pc (unable to connect). I tried changing the realmlist.wtf file to the no-ip address, the network address(192.168.0.xxx), the local address(127.0.0.1), and even my actual ip. The only way that I am able to log into WoW is to set the address in navicat to my network address and reflect that in my realmlist.wtf file. I do not wish to use hamachi, as I plan on having a lot of people on my server (I have heard that there are major lag issues using hamachi... if this is not true, then please correct me).
-When I do have my no-ip address in the realmlist in navicat, my friend keeps getting a realm loop when trying to log in. I have no firewall set up right now on my server pc, and i have forwarded all the proper ports to the server pc on my router.

If someone could help me with these issues, I would be very greatful!!! Thanks
