i killed an npc in my own server and then i closed the server and when i opened it up the npc disapeared what to do ?

i am using the mangos shadow repack if that has anything to do with my problem.....well when i click on create a character a WoW error occurs and will not let me continue starting up my priate server i think the problem might be from changing the thing inside my realmlist.wtf folder but it said to do that in the guide i was using

i was following the forum sticky an i clicked the link for shadowhunters repack an a link window came up an told me 2 enter a certain three letters into a box(eg. FGY or PGR) after i click that because ther was nothing else which had anything 2 do with a download on that site,after a short wait,i clicked down load but the problem was when i extracted the file i downloaded into add ons folder,an clicked run StartSQL(1).bat a warning came up that said the file does not exist,can some1 give me step by step for a computer novice like myself.

im not making a server im trying to join one so my question is how do i set a realm list?

I am trying to enter a server my friend made on the lan and I used his ip (tried both hamachi and normal ip in realmlist.wtf) but when I try to enter his server it lets me see the realm list, it shows the realm (The Burning Crusade) but it keeps returning me to that window. I can't enter the realm.

Check some of the older guides, they usually have a link for one.

how do i create custom items xD im used to wowemu, but never tried mangos and i cant seem to figure out how to create items, i tried searching for threads as well, still i got no clue :P

I can log in.. authenticates and everything. However, when I get to character creation screen it gets stuck in a "Logging in to game server" Choose realm loop... any suggestions ?

Your friend probly gets unable to connect because his realmlist.wtf is not your exact hamachi IP.

Are you trying to get on someone elses server or your own?

well, I posted this question in another forum but no dice, so ill try here....
I'm usig the Shadowhunters Repack with TBC, and I can log in fine and everything works, but if my friend tries to get in, he can log in but when he selects the realm it just boots him back and tells him to select it again, can anyone help, please? Oh, and I need to customize my server a bit (Realm names. ect.) anyone know how?

same problem as the guy above me. And for some commands on mangos:
.lookupitem *name of item*
.additem *number you got from above command*
.lookupcreature *creature*
.addspw *number of above command, you might have to set a spawndistance first*
.level *number, 254 and select yourself for lvl255, also in negative*
.changelevel *number, enemy mobs*
.money *select char and it gives you the money in copper*
.tele *name, GM ISland for imba weapons, tier 1/2/3/4/5*

all I can think of now. Just fix the join bug pls

Oh and 1 more thing. Is there a GOOD version of private servers? bosses now are just tank & spank instead of OMG phase1 down go to phase 2.3 where we have to blabla instead of hit the boss, heal the tank and down the damn thing 3man instead of wiping with 40 :d
