i have my own server but no one cant connect because my ISP is blocking it,

ey latruwski as I've said I tok your advice and TRYED to make an ascent server, well I was going to set It up and fix th whole router part when I managed to **** my whole family's internett, so ofc they got pissed //last week ;9// Finally the Internett Is fixed and I am really looking forward to ask you and other emulation experts for help along the way to my perfect server

I got one question tho...
It may be a bit newbie but I am one. When I finally get to set the server up to my IP-adress, do I really need a standar IP-adress to get ascent to work both Localhost and on the nett?
I wounder because my brother had a CS server up-going, and we don't got a standard IP-adress.

it depends on if you wanna have your server public or private... (for all people or only lan)
if you wanna play with your brother use localhost
if you wanna play with your brother and other people use an IP or some other host...
(check guides, i think their are posted topics for this... )

Yeah thnx, I've been using one of these guides can't remember wich one because the guide had a link to another Internettsite. // It didn't say If I needed a standar IP-adress or not wich leeds me to my question again.
My IP-adress Is constantly shifting(dunno how often) because we havn't paid for a IP-adress that will be the exact same from time to time. +rep for helping me tho.

you can use DNS (dyndns) if you have dynamic IP....

Ok im a beginner at private server, and when i searched i found alot of detailed "how to make" private server guides, but they were all for windows

The only MAC private server guide was like chinese for me. Does anyone know or can anyone make a detailed MAC private server guide for beginner? It would be greatly appreciated

I finally got my server online, i opened the ports and everything. I can log in just fine using the website given to me by dyndns. So I asked my bro to try to log in on his computer, he got to the character create screen, created his character, started it, it started to load and at the end of the load he got an error 132. I can log in with no errors, but why won't his load?

check he's wow version, if this is correct or patching doesnt help than do the following.

Go to the wow folder, you see a folder called CACHE, empty this folder, if that doesnt help i have no other id's.

Hello

I am the owner of the server GMPUBLIC and since I am now using ascent instead of antrix, I would like to ask a quick question about blocking commands.

I am currently using the 2dgreengiant/Chrispee's ultiamte ascent repack of DOOM rev 1.976 including the db. My problem is that when I try to block commands from players in the command_overrides table, it says Ex: npc possess (Changing command level of command 'servershutdown' to a.) when I put (az) in the box that I want the command level to be changed to. This is the same problem I have with every command I try to block as well. If someone could help I would be very appreciative.

Also using the same repack there is a problem with listing the areas you can teleport to using the .recall list command. If you could tell me how to fix this, I am willing to learn.

Do the following, go to Command_Overrides and put in the following

command_name: .servershutdown
acces_level: AZ

But only make urself AZ cus AZ and 3 is just the same. So make ur gm players acces lvl 2 and than the commands they may not use AZ.

And the commands that are for lvl 3 gm's but they may use u override for acces level 2.

And than ur problem wil be solved :-) i made an example with .cheat fly, i made it for AZ and changed my account lvl to 2 and this is the resault.

When I download any GM megapack, or SQL bundle, it comes out as a .rar file.

for the GM megapack it says to open it in microsoft excel, but micrsoft excel can't open .rar files, they can only open .xlm or .xls files.

for the SQL bundle, same thing except it has to be .sql

Anyone know how I can change the .rar files to the file that I want?

Question, I recently upgraded from AC webs repack 7.1 to the new 7.3, I exported my "logon" tables first, then when I tried to install them, they loaded fine, restarted server and computer, but when I run the logonserver box, it says cant load accounts, loaded accounts 0, unknown table language in field. I tried just exporting the accounts and characters and character items and still same problem What am I missing? I also noticed that when I tried to install Jullianx Mall, it had a bunch of errors, so Itried to load an older database,Milestone 2.2 and it would not install properly! Is there a good Mall for the new NDBC?
