Hey, guys thanks. Im considering a private server. I just dont know if its better to join one or make one of my own. If i join one, i have to connect to someone elses IP n such, but if i make one, it could get majorley boring :yuck:.

Couple questions:
How do you know if a server is trustworthey to join?
Which do you find better? Your own? or Someone elses?
Is it hard to run a server?
How do you make it so only your friends, and you can join?
Whats the best kind of server for a funserver? Whats the best guide? Whats the best type : Antrix, Acesent, Mangos?

- by joining it and testing
- not hard to run if you have basic knowledge
- do not post it on public website etc... dont advertise you server and no one will join
- Ascent = best (ascent = antrix lol) Project Silvermoon FunDB = verry nice

Im getting Authentication Failed... the IP thing it says is 127.0.0.1:8093.... Any idea how 2 fix?

hello ppl.... Since the 2.3 update i seem to have problem with water. The characters DON't swim... instead they fall like they fall in air... i have tried couple of db's and ascent 2.4 stable... any ideas how to overlap this annoying bug? thanx

Looks cool to me.

Hackpatch was in the old days with WoWEmu, it was need to modify the exe to run it with WoWEmu, know a days it isnt used. Dont try to install a hackpatch since it will destroy your installation.

Ok, im back this time with antoher problem..... Ive setup hamachi ivee changed my Actual WoW .wtf and the antrix .wtf but whenever i open WoW i just goes
"COnnecting" then "Cannot connect"
How to get on normal WoW launcher i have to disconnect internet and reconnect to stop it patching ( the server i play on comes witha launcher)

check your realmlist.wtf file and delete:
set patchlist blablabla that will stop letting it update
then make sure the realmlist line is set for your private server...
also launch wow with wow.exe not with the launcher

Be sure that you and every players got 2.3 if not work. try del your Cache and then login agian

DBC editor for DBC
and visual studio C++ for dll ...
