As a part of a team challenge we try to expose some major flaws in the wow "security" (game mechanic and client/server relation). The goal is not to use and abuse but to find and expose.


Last week we found a way to take down entire servers instantly by modifying a single byte in the wow client, and sorry for any harm we caused.

This week we we took a look at the recent packet timestamp check (the speedhack nurf), to see if there were any other ways to get around quickly. And sure enough, here yesterday we found a way to instantly ("instantly" as in /worldport id x y z) teleport unrestricted around the world.
