If there's one thing I hate about Mega is that i can never seem to finish downloading large files like the Heroes client, it always gets frozen near the end of the download.

placing the game files in the starcraft 2 trial worked!!!
this is the folder where the game files were placed, bb starcraft2 error.

you need to extract all the gamefiles in the .rar to that location, there are some hidden files and some files that need to be replaced, copy paste didn't worked for me, but the full unrar did the trick.

I downloaded Sc2, .rar the gamefiles ( not the folder ) of Heroes to Sc2 folder and put in it Heroesconfig + Offline mode too. But when i try to run Heroesconfig i have "ERROR : Unable to find Heroes of the Storm".

Did i miss something or did something wrong ?
I've not the build 30414 yet, only the 29755 one ( want to try Illidan before last updates ). Do i have to get the new one ?

Already found where the real problem is. If you rightclick on your Heroes of the Storm folder > properties, u will notice there's a ticked option: READ ONLY ACCESS.
I've tried to revoke the attribute many times, but when i go back and check properties, the read only access option is still ticked. I've tried many tutorials about permissions in windows 7 too, but it is impossible to revoke the permissions. If anyone of you success to set all the folders and archives inside HotS directory, pls share Howto

I read like all the comments but still i'm too dumb to understand what u exactly did.You are playing with bots or why did you need to download starcraft then place hots in it.Please explain for dummies like me

Any news on the Blizzard server issue? Is everyone receiving it since the latest update Blizzard did with the actual tech alpha or is 29755 still working for some people? Even tried extracting the files for 29755 into a folder inside my Starcraft 2 folder w/ heroesconfig+offline mode file but still no luck (although I didn't extract everything directly into the Starcraft 2 folder which would overwrite some files already in there, or would that be required?)
Also is there any chance HeroesConfig still works with an older version of the alpha? (if there is active links available)
Any info would be appreciated, even if there is a way to just play the tutorial lol

Hi gyus, it's my 1st post and I have some request. I have alpha access to Heroes. Apparently there was an ability to watch replays in previous Heroes builds!

I cannot confirm it because I didn't knew that earlier :/ I suppose that it works the same way as in the SC2. You must associate replay files with SC2 Switcher/Storm Switcher in Support folder, then login and replay in SC2 will load. Or when you're logged already, then replay will also open when doubleclicked. In the newest build this is not working :/ But I wonder that anyone could modify the existing launchers to make it play replays from old builds on that old builds. But it would be wonderfull if someone could upload build 30027 and make launcher only for replays - it shouldn't be hard. Only problem is that you must be logged, that should be possible to bypass. It would be really nice to watch our replays!
