I think I figured out how to avoid ban

The moment your account logs in on Nox or your phone, you're flagged. GL.

So Let's say i bot an account to 25, slow speed and careful. Then i log in on my phone=flag and rip? (Not logging in on Nox, ever)
Or did i missunderstand? Could you elaborate on that, if you have additional information?

I don't know too much about coding or, I suppose, the "semantics" of computing, but logging onto any type of client (bot or official app), your IP, your OS, and phone is sent to Niantic, yes?

One slip up with IP, one login from iv checker or other bot and your done, everyone of my accounts used something and everyone got banned.
The most xp I got in one day legit was about 100k with eggs, until we know what flags an account for sure its all guess work.
Even now I'd say someone is going through accounts and using the ban button 8:47 this morning they banned my last account.

Ofc, niantic will not prioritize you coz you are not like 30+lvl with ton 100iv pokemon. and you will not gave any impact for the other player yet, when you reach certain lvl they will took eye on you

That's actually a decent idea. Run a few bots at the same time and get everyone soft banned and flagged.

wish one of the coders made the walking speed fluctuate between say 5-15km. that is definitely a way to catch botters. just see who is
moving at the exact same speed all day long. no human does that lol

There isn't anything to contribute, if you use a bot you get banned PERIOD. The uncertainty is that they don't do it right away.

Here are some other theories:

Any serious softban (except small distance teleporting offenses which could be GPS errors) = permban eventually
Any API access outside of client = permban eventually

Who gives a crap if going slow makes you get banned after a week or two instead of 3 days. They are auditing accounts and issuing bans based on that and this is proven, some people didn't even bot since the API change update or use their accounts and 3 weeks later and still got banned.

You are just dreaming but good luck with that, you will disappear like dozens before you when your theory turns out to be crap and you get banned anyway.

the moment you start up the bot at level 1, or log into your account in an emulator, you are already flagged because bot/emulator does not send real device info, which Niantic collects ( people seems to ignore this fact, regardless that even bots require you to spoof those now) not for marketing purpose, or for fancy charts at stakeholder meetings, it's for BAN HAMMERING.

even if you leave that account at level 2 or 3 with no activity for 3 or 4 months , you'd probably still banned sooner or later because their ban routine looks at an account's history as early as level 1. I say sooner or later because Niantic review accounts in batches and ban in waves, so your bot accounts can dodge a ban wave just because they are not reviewed yet doesn't mean that it is off the list.

This is why people who botted for 20 levels, then played legit for another 5 levels for 2 weeks, still got banned.

This is why people got their legit account banned along with their botted accounts, because they were logged in from same devices.

Botting behaviors are just one of multiple factors that would flag your account, so addressing config is not enough. Fake device info is another one, and unless both fronts are completely addressed, Niantic will catch you.

All of the current bots can't do neither of those things, so there is really no safe botting at this point. If you bot, you do it for fun knowing that you will get caught.

I personally have a scrub account which I botted for 20 levels, and haven't touched it on emulator/bot SINCE THE FIRST API CHANGE (that's a long time ago, for those who are familiar), and it still got banned just YESTERDAY.

You can set "UseWalkingSpeedVariant": true, in the config.
Can also set "ShowVariantWalking": false, So you can see it fluctuate. I find it rather annoying though. So I keep mine set to false.

How is it the blind leading the blind? I'm not saying what I posted is concrete. It's theory. I'm just posting what's worked for me so far. It's simple...

- Change the delays every 30 min to 1 hr if you can (this includes traveling speed in km/h) run the bot.
- Keep the killswitch requirements low (below 200)
- Don't bot more than 4 hrs straight. With a killswitch in the low 100's your bot will kill itself in 2 hrs (more or less).
- Before you boot it up again, change the delays and traveling speed again, run it for another 2 hrs.


I'd say botting 4 hrs straight would be safe if you're changing delays and speeds every hr. Everything needs to be variable, not constant. And more importantly, human. I bot for 4 hrs max and take a break for 2-3 hrs. I might come back and do 4 more hours but I don't bot more than 8 hours a day.

Maybe it's true they have me flagged and I'm going down but better to be optimistic than pessimistic at this point
