So, rocket API is the problem right ? As all of you claim to be... Why da fk they dont insta-ban ppl using altered API ? If they let me use BOT for some time i can seriously ruin the game for legit players, thats bad business for niantic... It's what they do actually with ban waves, most of people have been banned actually, there are no many botters still living and the next banwave will crush them down, and again and again and again, Ninantic will never stop from banning cheaters.

Yes, i understand that, but why not a script that instantly ban ppl using offset API, im actually botting 4 accs all lvl 27+, with really strong pokemons that could hurt some gyms... Thats my actually question, if API is the trigger, why not make a script to ban ppl using altered...

We don't know actually, maybe they're upgrading the detection system or something like that, they always keep an opened door to analyse how we're trying to cheat maybe, no one knows.
Maybe that's complicated to do.

Now, that's way worse, to have a splurge of complaints from legit players and they'll have to manually verify each one of those just in case some god forsaken lying piece of poop tries to appeal along with the legit ones. A ban wave is much suitable since they'll have time to verify things before putting them in the dirt.

I think that no one ill appeal to have their lvl 1 account back... Keep the ban waves and focus on the new accounts, or lvl 10- with insta ban if API offset detected, i mean, there re A LOT of options to enforce the instantly ban for use of BOT. Its not that hard as ppl are picturing it, its more likely to have tons of emails of ppl appealing if they let ppl get high levels duo to botting then if they keep banning from lvl 1

At first i thought api was the problem it may be a trigger but i successfully passed the level 30 mark its been over a week of botting and still good i think everyone is getting banned just for the pure fact that we are greedy 500000xp a day people think they can spoof all around the world in a minute and get away with it lets be serious even a teleporter probably wouldnt be that fast crazy fast jets cant go that fast simple fact is all the greedy people get banned i think people are realizing that and u hear about less and less bans 1 because people gave up but 2 because they smartened up and arent getting banned keeping quiet because they dont want everyone on there configs making suspicion higher

they could do that...they can make their servers instantly ban any account that sends a request that is not authenticated properly ..there are many ways they are going about detecting cheating....cause people using emu with real client is catching bans too..so its not just api ....spoofing seems to be ok on ur phone.

Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.35.0 for Android and 1.5.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.

Im not bannned :P I botted to lvl 31 and I have a maxed dragonite. Some of my friends were banned a while back and so was my alt account. I guess I just played it smart or something like that lol. To add, I havent botted in about a month if that helps. The only thing ive done is pokestop botting and i set the location near me and put it at a reasonable walking speed (19 Km), thats about the speed of biking.

Its not so black and white as that. There are notable differences in an official API request and custom one, but there are times when a legit player could be erroneously flagged by a detection algorithm(in fact there would be a lot of false reports. Never had a false report in anti virus? Its basically the same.)

Making their customers angry by banning them with no apparent reason its bad business either. So somewhere in the middle is the sweep spot. Ban waves!
