I wanted to update everyone. It's been 24 hours since I was greeted with the no data on the server message upon trying to log in. I have not received an email to inform me of anything, and especially not about a permanent closure of account.

I want to clear up a few things considering how derailed this thread has went.

Remember that no one in in this thread have any knowledge of what's going still. No official word of Niantic as of this post.
People saying that if you don't appeal in a certain time frame, you can no longer appeal is full of shit. How can we respond in a certain time frame if we have not been notified of an account closure?
All emails besides the automated message people receive after trying to appeal are fake.
Why would you appeal for a ban that may not exist? You're just snitching on yourself.

Can it just be a Niantic troll? Yes. Can it be a permanent ban? Yes. Can it be absolutely nothing? Yes.

Relax, and see what happens in the next 24 hours. That's all we can do for now. Hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.

Edit: What I personally think is happening is that people with this issue are online for investigation. Once that is through, you will be given the verdict. For sure, these accounts are flagged and awaiting processing of some kind.

Edit 2: some people are also saying that your data has been deleted. Not true. I have created a dummy account to check if my name was taken or available, it says the name is not available. Relax, your data has not been deleted.

Agree. Niantic owes everyone who experienced this shit a good explanation. Especially some of us is already put good spending in game, enough to start our own private server

to avoid spamming this thread so much that we can't keep up if we take our eyes off this thread for 30 mins, I suggest and request that people stop posting anything that doesn't provide any new information or anything that doesn't detail their experience with the "cannot retrieve game data" error.

it has been 36 hours for me and i still can't access my account. i tried logging in to a PoGo Iv checker ive been using and it can't find my account anymore. I'm level 35 with 7 dragonites 100%IV over 3k cps and 12 snorlax that is also 100% IV CP ranging to 2.6-2.9k with 350+ candies still .. RIP

Just checked my open ticket that I submitted 14 hours ago with no screenshot. When I typed in the URL to view my ticket it was marked as solved with no response. I submitted a screenshot and the ticket was open again.

my account lev 39 getting back to normal after 12-24hr catchflee and pokestop ban, I dont do anything just waiting, I think this ban caused by fast action by the bot, I'm tried set the bot setting to normal action like humans, until now the bot has been running for 3 hours, still not get any ban but the exp/h is very slow average 50k/h
