Seriously between you and bootlick , im trying to determine , who is actually smarter ... heres a NEWSFLASH i got the "Failed to get server " for 10 almost 11 hours and now i can sign in just fine and play normally , i even took over a gym about a hr ago after my first message here ... i simply uninstalled and reinstalled the game .. and logged in normally .. it has worked ever since then .. so it isnt perma bann..... JS

I have a weird issue. I am able to spin @ pokestops and catch pokemon but unable to get into gym. My character vanishes once i get near a gym and click on it. I tried in Nox as well as my phone, same outcome I have to restart the game every time. Any one facing this issue ?

Only 10-11 hours? I got mines about 28 hours ago and still no luck. Just unlucky I guess.

So, there is a contest stage that you reference but you can't (or care not to) define it? That is a logical fallacy. You can't claim something and try to enter it as fact without providing evidence to back it up. Conjecture and speculation are not hard evidence. This is logic 101.

I'm not going to care one way or the other about my "failed to get game data" account because it was created out of curiosity yesterday and I had an interest in how Necrobot worked. The account I do seriously play with will come nowhere near a bot or third party tool. I literally do not care if it is a server error, temporary ban, or permanent ban. The reason I am currently in this discussion is because there is no reason to spread panic when we do not have all the details.

Maybe Luck .. but either way i hope you get it back , if not just grind it out , thats what i wouldve done had it been perma banned ... i dont have much credibility here yet , but i am very honest .. yeah it was like 10 hrs and 40 something minutes ..... but i wonder had i uninstalled and installled the game earlier had it worked sooner ... hopefully noone loses anything yet .. time will tell , but all my accounts seem to be working fine now

I can't even believe I fed bootlick, what a troll. He's no better than the people trolling chats just yelling ban every single time someone asks a question. This goes to further prove my point that some people had the message, and now they're able to log in. There is possibilities that some of these unable to get data from server are perma bans, but some evidences have proven otherwise too. For all we know some of these accounts might just be stuck in a bad server, and some might be banned, OR it could be a new softban that lasts X amount of hrs.

According to bootlick though it's a FACT that everybody is banned, yet "some", not all the people who were getting the message somehow seems to be able to login.

Post a SS, I have the same "Failed to get game data from the server" on a 3 week old account, oh and hey the name is available on PTC. Thanks for the I survived hype, but you not a fact without proof. FYI why the **** am I posting. GUYS if you have the failed to get data from the server or we humbly ****ed you login your shit is locked pending appeal, #notoffical.

Same here, I got two account with "failed to get data from server" errors for 28 hours, still no luck

My main account was originally catch flee for 15 hours, then turn to "failed to get data from server" for 8 hours so far

its too early to make any conclusion.
the funny part is, my legit account level-18, which i never used any bot or online tool is having this error "Failed to get game data from the server" its more then 40hours.
where as my dummy account, which i have used all possible bot available Spegeli, d-Haxton, Pokecolor, Pokefast is is still going strong in level 24

( both use google authentication) In playing with it even now in NOX.

Im clueless what Niniantc is doing & how capable is their programmers.

Since my main accout get "failed to get data" error, I tried to submit a ticket, got the auto-reply message only

few hours after, i reply to that auto-reply message, and click into the pokemon go portal, found that my request is still "Open", but no reply from official yet

btw, I am in GMT + 8 time zone.
