Anyone know how to make so i can show the filetypes after the filenames?

just re-open with notepad. had the same problem.
still doesnt work for me, i got the bat to run, but the cache fails and doesnt write.

edit: its failing to find "character.txt"

I am constantly getting this "Memory write failed!" error... don't know why...

I am on Windows 7 64bit, and I already tried deleting the cache, running the tool in administrator (worked, but the memory write still failed).
    What could be wrong here?

Still not working :/ And yes, I'm logged in and can move my character but it's still my "Raz's Pauldrons" heroic when I want "Pauldrons of Great Ettin" heroic, where do you get the ID on Wowhead? In the URL?

I am trying to change the Vicious Gladiator's Greatsword (t2 version, link: Vicious Gladiator's Greatsword - Item - World of Warcraft) into Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood (link: Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood - Item - World of Warcraft).
However it is not working. I have got it to edit other items, but the t2 PvP weapons seem to be a problem. Anyone who could shed some light on this?

edit: I can edit the t1 version of this exact weapon, just tried it. All my t2 weapons can't be edited it seems, but everything else can. halp!

I did link both of the items? Press the green stuff in my original response

edit: I realised looking over your other thread (which I hadn't seen as I posted in this one, sorry :P) that a lot of people had problems when trying to edit t2 PvP weps.
