I have a question.
There are green skinned trolls, blue skinned, all representing a type of troll.
So what type of troll is the Red Skinned Dire Troll?
Dire trolls are a small number of trolls that are strikingly larger and more heavily muscled than the rest of their brethren. There is no racial distinction between them and the rest of the troll race. A variety of reasons might be behind this unusual size and musculature. For example, dire trolls might have been altered alchemically or magically. They might also simply have been born larger than average (but it is not very probable). Regardless of the day-to-day prejudices that these trolls must contend with from other races, dire trolls are not regarded as monstrous by other trolls
whats up with how illidan dies in black temple.. they just ruined the story line
Yeah i think thats a load of bullcrap. But they've gotta have some bosses... i guess it could be considered like in some other games where even as you beat a boss he still survives and escapes or comes back later or something. The suggestion that Arthas couldnt even kill illidan and a bunch of wowers could is just gay.
And the idea of killing Arthas... Just stupid...
Why wouldnt we kill Illidan? He has never been described as "immensively powerful" in WoW Lore, only as mad. Arthas defeated him fairly easy and then walked away.
Why do all the male dwarves have facial hair?
Gfx
Illidan became more powerful when he consumed the Skull of Gul'dan, not less as you imply. Wether he was one of the most powerful sorcerers in the world is topic of debate, unless you have a source. He was indeed one of Ravencrests most trusted followers but this is no indication of extreme power.
Well, it is clearly described in the War Of The Ancients that Illidan is one of the strongest of mortal sorcerers. He even beats the Moonguard, who were some of the most powerful at the time. Then after he consumed the Skull Of Gul'Dan he became even more powerful even defeating Tichondrius, the strongest of the Dreadlords. But it's true that he's not described as extremely powerful in WoW lore. Yet again, Blizzard changes their lore. In WCIII he wasn't mad. But he was god damn powerful. About Arthas. Arthas is probably one of the only beings in Azeroth who can best Illidan.
And I don't think Alkhara was implying that he became less powerful after consuming The Skull of Gul'Dan. He was just stating that he was indeed very powerful before consuming the Skull.
Besides, it's not just that he's too powerful to fight players that bugs me. It's why. Why should he even think about fighting such pathetic, unimportant creatures as us? That, and, that he get's killed. Okay, I can almost live with it. But after that, he... somehow get's revived and relives the exact same moments as before just with different enemies? Huh? It doesn't make any sense at all! I know what you're going to say; "If it wasn't that way not everybody would get a chance to fight him!!1" Which is why nobody should get the chance to fight him at all dammit!
Because they're based on the Dwarves from LoTR. Who has facial hair. Why do all the male dwarves have facial hair?

My post should have read "even before he etc".
Didn't mean to imply his power ever lessened.
Why, precisely, has Sargeras been unable to exact his wrath on Azeroth after all these yeras?

I know this isn´t stated on WoWwiki, but still, I would like to know if you know about this: How, after all these years, did Gorehowl (Grom Hellscream´s axe) end up in the possesion of Prince Malchezaar?
