A topic to debate beyond the sacrifices to lore Blizzard has had to make, perhaps?

Something to remember as well is that everything in the game is considered to be like a piece of time that never changes no matter what happens inside/out of it.
Lol im a bit of a lore whore too
I got Warcraft orcs and humans when i was like 6 so when ive been reading through these posts ive been able to answer a lot of the questions.
It's always fun during WoW to come across someone that i've met or killed in a previous game - i can't wait to spank arthas for being so mean to Illidan cos Illidan is way cooler :P
Though i didn't even bother with the one explaining how it began.
GMC that was long :P
lets see if i can come up with a lore question you can't answer... hmm
Edit: Ok here's one i bet you can't answer, Who else was locked up in that prison that Illidan was in for 10,000 years?

Yeah but Tauer the same thing goes for The blades of Azzinoth really, and a lot of other lootable items the bosses use
Although its a bit stupid they made that sword that looks like Frostmourne too (The hungering cold i think)
I mean it is awesome to have these signature weapons but it's just so uncool if you use them to fight them or something.
I don't know. I wish you could make your own weapons so that you could have something thats your own unique thing.
Also i wish they would bring in the housing thing soon like they did in runescape (back in the day when i used to play it) and they could just instance it. I don't see why blizzard didn't do that, that would be awesome. Apparently they made some wierd version of housing where you could spawn your house wherever you liked but it could go in really stupid places so it sucked. I don't know. I really wish they'd make it though
Also apparently its still on their to-do list but by the sounds of it it's nowhere near the top... sigh
Sorry for the off topic ranting and the double post XD

i see
thanks for the information
I was actually mostly referring to the fact that there's only one Frostmourne, and it doesn't make sense that so many people would have it. But now that you mention it, it's true that that doesn't make any sense either.
The Blades of Azzinoth suck too.
I'm sorry, would you elaborate? I didn't really understand it.Something to remember as well is that everything in the game is considered to be like a piece of time that never changes no matter what happens inside/out of it.
Sorry, english isn't my first language.
I don't think I remember anyone else being locked up, but Califax a Keeper of The Grove was guarding the prison. Not sure if it was him you meant. The Old Gods, perhaps?Ok here's one i bet you can't answer, Who else was locked up in that prison that Illidan was in for 10,000 years?

Haha Darknights, I assumed you had someone in mind aswell. I was really confused there for a while, but like Tauer said Califax was nearly as much of a prisoner as Illidan himself, other than that no he was alone.
I have a question.
Why does Krasus loose his power (or most of it anyway) when travelling back in time? I have read the first book of The War of The Ancients, and I don't know if it explained in one of the others. I just find it very interesting that Krasus, a dragon mage, looses his power when Rohnin, a simple human, gains a tremendous amount of it. I have a theory that it is because he already existed in the same time period and that their powers were halved because of it. Don't know if this is the case, though.
Okay, cool. Is it explained in one of the other books or did I miss something in the first?
Very interesting. Could be a way to defeat Arthas. (Not in WoW, but in Warcraft IV if they're ever gonna make it.)

nah i reckon they won't make Warcraft IV, they'll probably make 2 more expansions for WoW after Wrath of the Lich king so we can get to level 100 and have 700% flying mounts, 300% ground mounts, 500% Underground mounts and 1000% swimming mounts...
They'll also let us go to the naga isle and the homeplace of the trolls near the maelstrom
Also because i can't be bothered to research this myself i'll just ask here
Before the sunwell got kerploded was the whole of azeroth one big island. I don't know why but i have some recollection that the whole of Azeroth used to be one big island but then something split it apart and the explosion (if thats what it was) also created the maelstrom, sucking a load of land in to it and only a few nearby islands surviving throuhg various means such as troll magic.
Yep, you're correct. Azeroth used to one big land: Kalimdor (As far as I can remember). The Well Of Eternity exploded creating Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.
Ahah! So it was the Well of Eternity. I knew it was a well of some sort. Couldn't remember what though. Thanks
