The day someone shows me a screen name at 70 without alliance having retarded character names with their real name clearly in it - Megaalex, steveawesome, clairbare - is the day where you might have gone up against a good team that wasn't premade.
Until then, alliance is just a ton of 11 year olds yelling "CHUCK NORRIS LOL, money plz?" over general.
And i like how people say "Horde is nothing but a ton of old guys playing a game" in which those people clearly have never raided, or even seen a raiding guild. There's about 3x as many "Hardcore raiding guilds" on alliance than on horde. And raids don't work if they're composed of kids trying to make themselves look cooler in SW.
I'm disappointed Enfeeble.. I thought you would know better. On my server around 80% of the Alliance have normal names, I've noticed that on PvP servers people tend to have stupid names, mines a PvE. I ran into someone the other day called Hordeovchaos on Horde side.. Yes there's the occasional Chuck Norris joke in General, but I levelled a Lock to 10 on Horde side and in the cities it was EXACTLY the same as Alliance.
Also - Alliance servers seem to have double the population of Horde. I think that no more than 30% of them are idiots. So in theory, Alliance servers have 170% more decent people than Horde, I know I'm turning biased now but I just don't like people who stereotype to HELL. Once someone shows me a survey of over 1000 different players on each faction THEN I may believe that the Alliance is composed of 11 year olds.
Enfeebleness - I play Alliance, do I sound 11 to you? Also does my name "Yosaron" sound like it has my real name "Alex" in it?
Maybe the people who were stereotyping the Horde were right. You seem to fit the description - PvPing all day, take the piss of the "11 Year old Alliance" and being a total biased twat about it. I'm sure you have met at least some decent Alliance, and how would you know that all Alliance spam Chuck Norris, to say that means you have played Alliance, maybe you have, maybe you just chose the wrong server. Or maybe it was an American server.
Also at the other guy, I didn't really agree with your points either:
1. I have NEVER met anyone who types that badly, except from on Runescape. As a matter of fact, horde has got a lot more 12 year old stupids, cuz they think "i r hrode, me be kwl, eet shiet elli scukerzzz", and most alliance are more mature, they're more "in the game", they don't **** up game experience
2. Most Alliance are mature but the 10% that isn't let the side down, the Alliance do have some total dicks as the Horde do.
3. I don't understand your last comment, Horde have helped me before, letting me hit mobs then killing them for me when I was lower, escorting me around and making my experience easier.

I know they don't type like that. That's called sarcasm. I don't say all hordies are dicks, there are lots of good guys too, but from what i've seen when i grouped with hordies, very often at least 1 of them was a total dick. And almost always a dude with an x in the beginning or end of their nick, e.g. Hellmagexx, xdude, xbelflockx. There are lots of nicks of that type on horde, which i haven't seen almost any on ally side.
I think that the horde are more mature, BUT, in my experiance it depends entirely what server your on, on a hell'lot of them you get jump up little kids on jellie babies screaming ''OMGZ Y NO DUEL?'' ''AGIN AGIN I WASNT RADI'' ''PLZGOLD'' Etc etc you get the idea, so imo it depends entirely on the server to the quality of people, but thats just my experiance.![]()
My server must be THE WORST, for bad Horde names. I did /who, 36 out of the 49 people who popped up had bad names, no lie. Things like - "Aliancehunt" "Mythicalshaman" "Thapriest" "Magicmage" "Belfgelf". I'm not exaggerating either. I counted.
I play both. What I tend to see is that I see more idiots on alliance side, however there is a reason behind this. Usually its 2:1 or 3:1 ally to horde on a server. If the horde server had 10000 people, then 1000 would be idiots. If the ally server population was double the horde population, then there would be 20000 people and 2000 idiots. Although its the same ratio, the alliance side with see more idiots due to the larger population.
From my personal experiences, I play my 70 hordie for pvp and my 70 ally for raids. Alliance is just too uncoordinated in bg's, although I have seen ally premades that smoke us horde. It all comes down to preference, and you will also experience a different story and quests during your leveling, which makes it interesting to lvl both horde and ally.
just my 2c
Go on normal server...Play both!
Because Alliance just Pwn Horde.
I like the Horde race because it lets be level my Warrior Gnome.
FYI Stay away from Human Paladins and (Girl) Night Elfs
THEY ARE 12 YEAR OLD BOYS!
Like I always say:
Guy

Real
Life
Lol Stans now you made me regret rolling a Female Night Elf Rogue alt 0.0
Heres my opinion based on experience of horde vs. alliance.
From what I have seen, Horde like to be very competitive, majority are lone-wolves, but they take the game quite seriously and have hardly any remorse. From what I have seen is that Horde have a hard time making friends, if you arent in their guild, you are fodder for jokes and making fun (most of the time) PvP is serious business to majority of horde players. In PvE, horde tend to be a bit hard to get a group going, the group will shift from 2 people, to 3 or 4, then back to 3, to 5. Then it takes an hour for everyone to get to the instance and started. Usually ending with needing someone to leave. At least the players know their jobs, get things done fairly well, if not with some bickering. When it comes to Raiding, either you are going to fail, or you are going to be hard-core. There isnt much inbetween from the servers I have played on, usually a very large progession gap. But in the Horde raiding scene, its usually a fight for DPS charts rather than doing the job right. There is the truth that compared to alliance, Horde are usually far older.
Alliance: (from my little experience playing against and with) The Alliance seem to be a bit more helpful with one another, grouping is fairly easy, even for quests (nearly impossible from my experience as horde). PvP seems to be harder.. if you arent in a pre-made, theres no working together, people just want to get better kill-count. Though in some cases there has been quite a nice PvP experience, but mainly when there are 7 twinks on my side. Lots of twinks usually, some played by bad people at times, but its usually either a twink, or someone 4 levels too low to do the BG with alliance. In PvE, groups tend to be alright, they are formed quickly, people know their jobs, they do the run, and its over. For Alliance, raiding seems to be fairly ok, though from what I have seen.... there are a LOT of raiding guilds, most in Kara, but few past that on the servers Ive played, but the guilds get along fairly well, if they dont always do well in the Raids, (whipe after whipe after whipe), poor DPS in most cases but great support and teamwork. But there is always that knowledge that majority of the players on alliance side are fairly young in most cases, I was once in a WSG, where 8 of the 10 people piped up "I are 12 idiot!!" after I made a comment about someone spelling like an 8 year old. Followed by "Me Too!" "Im 11!" "13 Here!", etc etc.
Soon you can find my projects at: www.termight.info
In my guild really everyone is over 18 years old except me :P (Horde) But when I go to Alliance I'm one of the oldest. (And yes, I have asked it on their forums their age ;-) )
Also in BG, when I'm running with my horde character their is nothing to be frighten off, cute gnomes etc but when I'm alliance in Bg and I see brute hordelings etc :P
