[Discussion] Horde or Alliance?

I prefer horde for a few reasons.
1. Looks, Draenei? Really now? I don't want to play looking like a mutant fish. If I did, i would get a model edit.
2. Size, Umm..... Gnome warriors? Is that a joke? Prince could step on you.
3. Emotes, Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I'm dead and colorblind. Or the Female Blood Elf, no, i won't do that, but my sister will.... lol

You make some fair points, I always thought Draenei looked a little strange even though I have one myself. You can't disrespect Gnomes though xD, there's nothing more satisfying than killing someone 4 times your height with a fireball to the gob.

pros and cons of both factions:P
- alliance: lotsa guilds and friendly mature lvl 70s, also great raiding progress.
(anti)alliance: found myself lonley and bored when lvling because when alliance reach 70, they raid till they drop. also theres allot of ppl with bad english who wants GOLD or HELP PLZ!!! but that counts for both factions:P also, ppl can be sooooo rude when ur asking for help....

-Horde: I found the lvling more confertable, more mature players lvling their alts not spendin much time raiding. Friendly ppl, get more help in tradechannal then asking my guild xD
-(anti)horde: not that good raid progress... preTBC i had 1 60 ally and 1 60 horde, both my guilds started MC at the same time. When my horde guild had just downed the 6th boss, my ally guild downed raggy:P

I like Alliance better IMO. As said before areas are nice and just dont seem cluttered. The races, are also not as angry looking, and every1 needs gnomes

Well, I would go with Horde, due to the fact that I think the players that play horde are more mature then alliance. Also the fact that you said Grond that Horde doesen't have a good raiding progress, that's totally wrong. I mean the most succesful raiding guild is Horde.

The faction debate is mostly pointless. From my experience, having played on many different servers and different factions on each, the maturity level of players seems to vary from server to server, rather than one faction having a lopsided view. It's true that on my current alliance server (Uldum), the alliance pre-70 are majorly immature and downright stupid, but all the 70's I know are very mature adults.

On the opposite end, I've had horrible experiences with pre-BC horde people, especially while leveling. The Blood Elves seem to attract the worst sort of players, and the dumbest things I've read in chat have come from those players. At 70, it seemed to be about the same as my alliance experiences (minus the NE Male Huntard 12 year olds).

I prefer alliance because I don't find it super cool to be ugly as hell, and like their cities design and looks much better than, say, Org or UC

Btw i got one ally and one Horde on the same server (both high lvl): so i guess i'm speaking from my servers experience (i play on Dragonblight)

Horde is the best faction why ? Because they got history ! I mean, Human are Human NE are NE and bla bla bla Forsaken got their own history as the BE and all the Horde races!

I've played both sides at 60 and 70, can say my experience generally is much better horde side. There is no better side, so long as you find a group of friends/guild to raid or instance with you can pretty much ignore the rest of the server.

Hey, well im normal... at least compared to a lot of people. I love Horde and playing horde characters because usually the people who play alliance are clueless to the game and screw up every instance or group and they don't know how to play their class. Most of the time Alliance are twinks, which i think is an unfair advantage because not everyone has that much money to twink out characters. BUT, the main reason why I like horde is because I think those people are awesome to hang out with and they usually aren't noobs, besides in the Barrens Chat...lol

Zythro has a great point most of the alliance that you play against, it doesnt matter what server your on, they all just seem to be nooby twinks with terrible sized chars i mean c'mon a 3ft gnome that when it casts firebolt the balls nearly bigger than it doesnt get more retarded than that lol.

my honest to god opinion is that there shouldent even be tension betwween the horde and aliance
seriously, at the end of warcraft three there all allies
then all of a sudden out of know were
"there peacefull relationship went to a bitter end" (wow opening)
when the heck did that happen? just out of no were?
other than that i guess i go with the horde
basically just because there looked at as bad guys i guess?
and then all the races on the human side other than elves are either short, fat, or both

Horde > Alliance in every single way. Horde has more lore, horde has easier and funnier quests, horde has cooler towns and cities, hordes are not pussies. My uncle and his wife plays wow as a horde, my little brother plays as alliance. See the difference? FOR THE HORDE!

I have played both and i do think that the horde leveling environment is way better when it comes to help from other players
