[Discussion] Horde or Alliance?

Heres my opinion based on experience of horde vs. alliance.

From what I have seen, Horde like to be very competitive, majority are lone-wolves, but they take the game quite seriously and have hardly any remorse. From what I have seen is that Horde have a hard time making friends, if you arent in their guild, you are fodder for jokes and making fun (most of the time) PvP is serious business to majority of horde players. In PvE, horde tend to be a bit hard to get a group going, the group will shift from 2 people, to 3 or 4, then back to 3, to 5. Then it takes an hour for everyone to get to the instance and started. Usually ending with needing someone to leave. At least the players know their jobs, get things done fairly well, if not with some bickering. When it comes to Raiding, either you are going to fail, or you are going to be hard-core. There isnt much inbetween from the servers I have played on, usually a very large progession gap. But in the Horde raiding scene, its usually a fight for DPS charts rather than doing the job right. There is the truth that compared to alliance, Horde are usually far older.

Alliance: (from my little experience playing against and with) The Alliance seem to be a bit more helpful with one another, grouping is fairly easy, even for quests (nearly impossible from my experience as horde). PvP seems to be harder.. if you arent in a pre-made, theres no working together, people just want to get better kill-count. Though in some cases there has been quite a nice PvP experience, but mainly when there are 7 twinks on my side. Lots of twinks usually, some played by bad people at times, but its usually either a twink, or someone 4 levels too low to do the BG with alliance. In PvE, groups tend to be alright, they are formed quickly, people know their jobs, they do the run, and its over. For Alliance, raiding seems to be fairly ok, though from what I have seen.... there are a LOT of raiding guilds, most in Kara, but few past that on the servers Ive played, but the guilds get along fairly well, if they dont always do well in the Raids, (whipe after whipe after whipe), poor DPS in most cases but great support and teamwork. But there is always that knowledge that majority of the players on alliance side are fairly young in most cases, I was once in a WSG, where 8 of the 10 people piped up "I are 12 idiot!!" after I made a comment about someone spelling like an 8 year old. Followed by "Me Too!" "Im 11!" "13 Here!", etc etc.

That's probably the best analysis of the two sides that I have ever seen, +rep for that. We need more posts like this.

I've played both sides 60+, and By Far, i liked Horde better, Allies where all little kids with no skill or anything. Horde was fun, because i actually played with mature people.

Maby just the servers i was on but. Thats my thoughts.

Horde is not really "better" than Alliance; there are good players on Alliance-side too, but the problem is just, Alliance has to many bad players.

When it comes to BGs I think none of them have the better tactics!
It's just, the Horde has less people, therefore there are less people with better equip!

Also, the Alliance has a lot of people that do "BG Hopping" switching from one BG to the next!

I personally have decided to stick with the Horde:

a) Undeads ftw
b) I like PvP

i disagree.. alliance? has a lot of 12 year olds too.. i think that horde is better because they are funner to play, i mein alliance they arnt pvpers that much and horde are really into pvping on most realms.. and i like to pvp so i go with horde..

My reason for being alliance is that they look better, and the citys look better, I also find the starting areas for horde (apart from Blood Elf) aren't that nice.
That's my opinion.

like Humans(we play a human irl )

yeah, on my server alliance is still on ssc and tempest keep, a guild on horde is at black temple lol... way more advancement i think.. more dedication
