WTB..... !! hehe
WTB..... !! hehe
Im kinda wondering, if the supposed thread with the supposed two things now got moved up to legendary status, then it has to have some kinda of credibility to convince even a hardened mmowned-member.
It's the 17th now, tho very early in the states. Do people still stand by the fact that the invites/beta start is later today US-time?
The few sources I have within press that did sign-up has not yet gotten an invite, that what keeps me being sceptical.
I want proof now![]()
This is quite interesting. I was reading on WOW.com that they have asked the 'media guys' to create a battle.net account, by april 16th or something. But that doesn't necessarily mean it will a beta will be released on those days right?
It still looks as if there is no beta. Until I see otherwise or proof, I stand by this statement.
Yeah I know this, but people are saying they have the client already, which I highly doubt.
Some have it. And overpowered people won't share.
How can they have it? It's not even available online from http://beta.worldofwarcraft.com/
But http://beta.wow-europe.com/ redirects to http://beta.wow-europe.com/expansion but there's only a white page atm. Press guys got directly their Battle.net account migrated.
Now I regret being a donator for this website...
Blizzard is handling the expansion like they did many SC2 invites and is just attaching it directly to the BNET account (which is why they asked the sites to send in BNET account names). The downloader itself will also probably be like the SC2 downloader and only work for the computer it's downloaded to.
The downloader is actually like SC2's one. That's why some guy in there made a torrent of the downloaded data... But some other people in there too made it private...
Lets stop the blatant guessing. There is NOTHING that indicates that press guys got access to the client already. The only thing so far proven is that they have gotten a informative email that they need a battle.net account in order to participate in the beta and that they need to mail their battle.net handle to be part of the press invites.
That Skuddle somehow magically got the invite before any other press as much as 3 days ago sounds rather unlikely. The press guys I have connections with have not yet gotten any client available, perhaps they simply where unlucky, perhaps they are keeping their mouths extremely shut.
So until proven otherwise, there exists no client, nor any beta at the moment. If anyone wants to disprove this, then I would be a very happy soul as I, just like you, wants a beta.
Regarding the websites, they will probably be the last thing to be available. they will mostly contain the FAQ and perhaps the character copy. My bets is that a client and pressinvites would come before such a website launches. We can't even be sure that's the site for cataclysm, as it can just be legacy from the WOTLK testing.
