I have a source in Blizzard -- He said that the Beta will not be released for what they think will be end of May beginning of June. And he thinks that they will not give out too many. He said he would guess 500 beta codes would be given out but he can not confirm it.

No offense, but I also have sources inside the WoW community. Very trusted ones which has gotten me quite a bit of information for things. Beta will be going live sometime in April according to TracLine flow. April 16th will be the Paladin review shown, April 17th is when Press Registration is over. April 17th is the start of Phase 1 testing.

We already know they are ramping up for testing. This is known for todays scheduled maint as they are prepping the servers for Cataclysm already. They will be setting up realm tonight (from what I am told.)

The beta codes of 500 is not accurate. They will have 3 realms.

Press registration ends on the 15th and the Paladin preview was moved to tomorrow.

I'm serious. 30GB client, and he's only downloading at 1KB/S due to the sheer amount of people trying to download at the moment. I won't give anything else away, if you don't believe me that's up to you, but beta invites were just released to media companies.

I rounded it, it's 29.7GB. It's in the shared lounge on progress and such which is why I'm refusing to leak, donate or reach contributor.
