Unless it impacts performance a lot the bot count should be lower. You answered this in the past and I think nothing has changed but junk to gold disabled by default would be great.
Thank you for your frequent updates and support.
In the changelog.txt i try to inform which config files where changed, so that you don't need to replace everything.

Sadly, I was using that, and it still won't connect. This is why I'm confused. lol I'm using:
127.0.0.1
3306
root
test
I will keep poking around and check back. I've never seen this sort of issue before especially when all the credentials match the server.

ARAC - can the be made as a patch.mpq and people can either add the patch to their game files or not?
No only if it's on.
ARAC: the install instructions are in their github.

Try using heidisql instead of navicat.

Can you please confirm what the root password is for your repack, I have no issues connecting via acore/acore but I need greater access and the root password provided isnt accurate.
I have tried:
test
Test
TEST
acore
ascent
password
'no password'
123456
root
none of which work.
To clarify, i have no issue with the server functioning. Acore/acore works of course. But I'm unable to create remote access to the db without access to the root, to create a non local host user with privileges.
So i beg you to please confirm the root password.
Multiple sql programs have been attempted like you suggest here but the error remains.
Also to Clarify The repack in question is the ' WITHOUT individual progress' repack. Perhaps the individual progress repack root password is test. But its absolutely not the password for the repack without individual progress.

I'm also using no progression and mine opens fine with 3306 acore acore in Beekeeper Studio. Edit: NM, I see you got it working but need remote access.

about random enchants,i tested it(on linux),it just crashes after 1 minute to 1 hour...some incompatibility...either azerothcore or playerbots update broke something
edit: without even connecting to it,just a bunch of losers running around

it is as it is. No capslock. The password/user is the same for both repacks, since i used the same portable database that have the same user/password no matter where it is deployed.
Make sure that the DB is running, you have the correct IP of the machine that it is running in, and that the port 3306 is open in the router that is connected to the database machine.

Thats super unfortunate news. I too am using Heidisql, same settings & credentials. I get only error. However i can still connect with acore@localhost no problem. Time would be better spent learning to build my own core I suppose.
Thank you for your time and response Aldebaraan.

I'm also running into a problem with the SQL files myself, i'm trying to edit chartitles.dbc but the Data section is coming up completely blank. Can someone tell me what i'm missing?

I never edited dbc files so i cannot help you with that. The repack uses the standard v16 data files. I didn't modify anything.

I recently installed this as a complete noob (small tech background). And had no issues accessing the DB. I've made plenty of edits, everywhere, and all good!
I had a couple hiccups at the beginning but this fixed it all Latest Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes All-in-One May 2025 Download | TechPowerUp

One question I have is updating particular modules. I don't know if I should wait for your next update or attempt them on my own. Are they pretty straight forward? I'd like to have Playerbots fully updated since 4-21
