Ok... here's my problem. When you are creating a server from the most recent patch in WoW ( v. 2 point... somthing...) it says to delete the patch.mpq and then run repair. Well... i delete the patch.mpq and hit repair the sign comes up "your wow is damaged" or whatever. so i run it and it only brings me back to v. 2.00.08 patch (something like that). so when i try to run the 1.11.0 and 1.11.1 patches it says "You dont need to patch this cause you already have v. 2.00.08" or something like that.

If anyone can help me with this i would be very greatful.

PS- when i try to run an offline server it says smothing about a diffrent version or the file is corrupt.... can someone plz help me with this.

I know this question doesn't really go in this section but i dont know whre else to ask it.Is there anyway of putting a glow on weapons that you make yourself using item creator without having to put the enchant on?? if someone could help me with that it would be really helpfull.Thanks in advance.

On My Server im a lvl 7 gm and i cannot get the .Add command to work right it doesnt do anything for instance .Add Small red pouch will not give me a small red pouch it doesnt give me anything pls help me!!!

Hi, I finally managed to get my server running but was wanting to know is there a way to search for itemid's or item id's. I am running1.11 with 1.11 hack patch. I have tried downloading the 2 files from mmowned for the id numbers but it seems to be out of date. I have tried a number of the items listed and they are different than what it says.

I love this site, even if it was very frustrating finding one that worked for me

I have a 1.12 server set up on one computer in my LAN.. i can obviously connect that computer to itself using the localhost.. but if i try to connect with a second computer (using the Realm change program to the IP of the srver) iit logs in, but gets stuck in the realm list. (i have already unblocked all ports in my firewall for WoW).. i have seen a question like this here but wasnt sure if he just meant on the same computer or LAN.

please help i dont know what else to try.

Ok , i fixed my previous problem and now i have a new one :yuck:!

i get this message when i try to start emu... :WoWEmu v0.4735.1.9 win2k/win2k3/winxp console release and when i try to connect or go to http://127.0.0.1 it just crashes....

.... i had played on the server many times before that happened , i was adding NPCs with custom items ... maybe it has something with that to do...

I am running a 2.0.10 BC WoW server. I am using MaNGOS and, have done all the steps necessary for getting the server ready. I am now, executing MaNGOS.exe, and after a minute or so, an error message comes up:

Title: Error! Log file could not be found!
Message: Error! Please check the name of MaNGOS log file as defined in restart.conf. If this is correct please ensure that the MaNGOS root directory is set correctly.

I have restarted my comp and tryed a few more things.

What is the answer to my problem!?
