OK im new at the whole private server thing . My first question is it possable to have a private server and still be able to play warcraft like it was ment to ? i have a pimped lvl 70 and dont want to chance getting him banned . And can i play the private server and the world server off of the same game or do i need to buy a new game ? Also can sombody tell me the best private server to play on ? thank you in advance . sorry for all the questions : )

well of course you can play both, you just change the realmlist
Ex. real wow = us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
private server = thisPS.no-ip.info

There are tons of private servers you can look at joining in the emulated server section (one forum down)

ok i had my server running fine, got everything working (sace a number of instances) but now it says "cannot authenticate game session, this may be due to the interference of another program" wtf why does it now notice antrix and shit are running and never before? PLEASE HEALP I WILL GIVE +REP OUT THE FACE

I am using an antrix server and i have a problem when i log on i instantly get the box that says "connected" is there any way i can make my log on process work better, not i am not using hamachi right now

I'm using the 879 Antrix core and the latest Terranet (also tried chrispee's) DB. There are no mobs or NPCs on my server, and it happens with both databases. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Hi, this is my first time posting, and definitely not my last, this website has been very useful to me. My question is, I just made my own private antrix server using this guide,

and when I made my account and password as root and root, I set my GM to 3, which he told me was the highest you could be. So I made my account, problem is, as soon as I started playing I tested the GM commands and got a yellow text response telling me that "There is no such command, or you do not have access to it." Why can I not use my GM power when my account clearly has the information allowing me to use them.

Edit: I just killed a wolf and leveled to 70 instantly, but still my GM commands won't work, this makes no sense to me.

I don't know how to fix this

The other main one is my Hunter Bug they are total bugged up. A wroking Hunter File would be great.

No pets work fully on my server. Not even for worlocks. Workin pet file would be great

Hey, guys. I have a few questions that I would love to have answered. First of all, I was looking around on the site, and I came across this post:

Do I have to use a Mac or PC version of MaNGOS for this to work? Or does it not even work for PPC macs?

Second (this should be easier to answer):

Whenever someone tries to enter Serpentshrine cavern on an Antrix server, they instantly get teleported to their start area. My guess is that the map is missing––does anyone have the Serpentshrine Cavern map available?

And finally, is it possible to re-script bossfights? If so, what tools would I have to use, and how might I go about doing it?

I was wondering if anyone knew what I should set my rates to so my mobs drop blues/epics. I've tried setting the item drop rate very high, but I only get greens and grays for some odd reason. Any suggestions?

Ok heres my question, in my Antrix server setup thing i made my account and password, but when i log into WoW it says i entered the wrong info....and i deleted that account and made a new one, still no luck. help plz im soo close.....
