Okay I put it in the right place..typed in right stuff..says cant do action run or somin like it
Could not open file map.
halp?
I got this to work, was awsome, very nice work. (btw he is right when he says memory intensive)
1) Go to the pastebin.com link he provided in the origonal post
2) Click the "download" button and click save as
3) Save file in your openbot folder (Example: c:\program files\innerspace\scripts\openbot\). Name it "map.iss"
4) Open WoW using Innerspace
5) Run openbot/openbot (starts openbot)
6) Run openbot/map 50 2
7) Open the Rendered Mapping and you can see it work.
To repeat various people in the previous replies, if you get a map error its because you installed it to the root of the scripts folder while your openbot is in the openbot folder. Just move it to the openbot folder and re-run.
Thank you sir. I didnt name it map.iss. Just map. Will try, if it works +rep for both of you.
Failed to parse script 'C:\Program Files\InnerSpace\Scripts\openbot\map'
RunScript 'openbot/map' failed
Could not open file C:\Program Files\InnerSpace\Scripts\openbot\Map for preprocessing
Preprocessing failed on C:\Program Files\InnerSpace\Scripts\openbot\Map
Failed to parse script 'C:\Program Files\InnerSpace\Scripts\openbot\Map'
RunScript 'openbot/Map' failed
Thats all it says. I did EXACTLY what you said.
I don't see the .iss extension on your map file. Try changing the extension.
Also, for those of you using this, try "run openbot/map <quadrant #> 2.5"
Fill in the <quadrant #> with how large you want each quadrant to be. (1000x2 = 2000 wide, keep that in mind.)
Using the 2.5 will make sure each box is 5x5, the same format that OB currently uses.
I highly suggest you use 5x5 boxes, as the next release has preferred pathing which works off the idea of users only having 5x5 boxes.
The scripts name is map.iss. It is a text file.
It is in OB folder.
What did I do wrong?
There is an include in the file (map.iss) make sure that this include reflects the correct path to your omapper.iss file.
