Expect to be blown away by Apoc's version, where mine was an experiment I think his can be considered an enterprise solution.

Unfortunately, I don't do automappers in LS. Too CPU intensive for my tastes. However the autopather will work on short distance paths very efficiently, basically nulling the use of a stuck feature, and map data loss. So far I've been able to cut the pathfinding time down from 20 min (BB to SW) to just under 5.
thats amazing.. I really want to see more work done on these.
this is pretty sweet
/AFK shower
ahh i got it working now. +15 m8
I have no idea how i could **** it up last night :P
ps: Note to self: Dont do "run openbot/map 150 2
ran 100 5 just fine.
no need to map under 5x5 squares, as openbot doesn't need less than that.
It can miss stuff with 5 yards boxes though. It might, for example, hit either side of a doorway, blocking the automapper from mapping into the building. I use a box size/distance of 3 in my automapper/pather, and it works in most situations (some narrow tricky areas it won't get, but then again OB doesn't do well with narrow tricky areas anyway).
You generally want anywhere from 1.8-3.5 box sizes. If you plan to automap areas (with the 5x5 boxes that OB already uses) you may want to premap any tricky areas beforehand, then run the automap.
For now I suggest using 5x5 boxes as this will keep you from being forced to remap areas next release.
Wow! Very Great+Rep x9
So, if i run this, with big settings, and there are some obstacles, will it avoid these ? or just map right through them?
Especially those in the RightWing Black temple ones that looks like "XXXXX"![]()
Great!!!! looking for this long time+ rep for you

oh same question as wajjewhat will it do
and the first number is how big to make the squares and the second number is how many?
sadly does nothing for me..I run it, I lag, It says saving maps in XML format and then nuthing^^ No new maps nothing^^
Running Vista 64-Bit.....but since it's a script this wont help much XD
nvm did it wrong...did run map 5 300 instead of run map 300 5 :P
Great post this will increase mapping areas fast.
