A hello, and a few questions please?

Hey everywhere, I'm new around the boards, so i'll start with a friendly greet do excuse the wall of text, but im genuinely stuck on this, so if you would take the time to read/assist, it would be very appreciated.

Ok, here goes. After leveling two toons to 70 on WoW, i thought 'why not try a bot?' so i done a bit of research, checked out some vids, and ''aqquired'' Glider Elite. so i installed it, and checked it out, I found it a bit confusing at first, as it's my first time using them (bots), but figured, I'll get the hang of it eventually. So i began looking for profiles, and found myself at this site i used a Primal/Mote of air farming profile, that farms around the SMV area, run the app, and sat back to observe...this is where it stumps me.
It begins fine, he follows his path, kills the spirits, loots rince&repeat, all great right? but...after 'x' amount of time, he starts acting...well, stupid, running in circles, starting his path, stopping then starting again, complete inhuman behaviour to be honest, i tried to run him while i went to bed, woke up this morning, to find out he shut himself down, i checked Glider to find this message, "Too many consecutive bad tags, stopping glide''
Can anyone shine some light on this please? as to why he begins fine, but then starts acting erratically. I'm sure with programmes like this, a problem like this has happened before, so i put my dilema to all the vets here. Thanks in advance

Open the glider.log file in your Glider directory.
Upload it, I'll have a look at it. Always read the logs, because its written there, why he does such things...

It seems that you have posted a thread that would be much better suited in the designated forum. Next time, look through the forum index and read the descriptions of each forum to find what sections suits you the best. Posting threads in the wrong section such as this one only causes disorganization and possible flamewars.

Guys, go easy on him... He is new... What may be wrong is that glider is detecting something that maybe the creator hasnt patched. And is behaving erratically...

a "bad tag" is when you pull a mob that someone else has already pulled, thus the bot kills it but cant loot. in the glider config there is a <bad tags> setting, and glider stops after that many bad tags, the higher it is the more likely it is you will be caught, but also the less likely glider will stop.

as to why it starts acting weirdly after a set ammount of time: This may be down to it reacting badly to followers, try setting "avoid factions" or similar to off. Again it's unsafe, but its safer than having it act retarded whenever someone comes near.

Glider will answer the questions comprehensively.

I would suggest spamming "No questions here", I believe it is against the rules, or a mod said they didn't like it.

As they have said, this is indeed the wrong section. Search through the forums and find a section that does not have [NO QUESTIONS HERE] or look for one that says [QUESTIONS HERE] but make sure it is not a wrong section like the "UI and Macro" section.
