My guess is that a month before WotLK is released, there will be an even larger Glider ban wave than before and after BC came out. I was apart of that ban-wave, got 12 of my accounts. 4 weren't banned though.
Crazy talk. Warden hasnt caught anyone Gliding in over a year and Blizzard allowing Gliders...sure dream on (maybe they are also alowing people to use ISX...um no). I love predictions like this...lol.

100% correct. You cannot blame Openbot for a ban anymore than you can Pather - if you do... well you are simply contributing to the noise.

Cypher you are completely talking out of your ass on this one (and you probably know it). You think they are letting off of Glider due to legal stuff...you have no idea the level of hate the actually have for Glider.
Yea...they nuke ISX for weeks now and they are gonna let the biggest app on the market somehow keep selling (a lot) just cuz they are doing well in court-nonsense. They have attempted in their last patches to detect Glider (several places and with a high level of trickiness) we just found it and patched for it. I am sure they will again and we will, hopefully, find it again.
    Come on...you know better.

As much as I'd like to agree with you here Hamut, I can't.

I agree on the legal part. (They're not just letting Glider off the hook due to the case)

They haven't nuked ISX. (Well... they did for ~1 week, we're just waiting on Lax to give us free stuff to protect ourselves with. Kinda like the broken condom machine. Free protection!)

However, there's no way to tell whether you're actually being detected or not. Sure, you can be 99% sure, but you never know you're actually undetected for the time being. All it takes is a flip of a switch to take down all botting (for a week or so), and you know its true.

Sooner or later Warden and process detection will be out of the picture. And Blizzard will be doing all their detection from serverside schemes. Then we're all screwed. (At least until we can make a bot that really does look human )

Well. Last time I took a look whilst bored (several months ago) I was able to find it from within WoW running through Glider (via a DLL). I'm not sure if Blizzard are aware that it is/was detectable, and I'm not sure if you've had a comprehensive look, but as far as I'm concerned it is. (Or at the very least was)

    Hamut.
The fact of the matter is, Blizzard are much more lenient with Warden than they could (and should be). They could spend a few hours coding in a couple of new features and basically kill all public hacks, but they don't, seems suspicious to me. To me it seems like Warden is just there to scare people.

I think it has something to do with the fact that they are paying for an account and/or gametime whether or not they are hacking.
Take out all the hacks (some people just hack 'cause they are bored of wow) and they lose alot of revenue.
Look at your post, now back to mine; Now back to your post, now back to mine. Sadly, it isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate content, it could look like mine. Look down, backup, where are you? You're scrolling through threads, reading the post your post could look like. What did you post? Back at mine; It's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again and the reply is now diamonds.

This is going to be übermazing! Been waiting for a bot with AI chat functions. Been using OB for quite some time and this will be a very good improvement!

    Wow, can't wait for this...

And, since there is a glider/OB discussion going on, well, it's a thing of taste mostly.
I used to use Glider, but not anymore, so I can't really act as smart as I could before.
Though - Imo, the discussion should be pointing towards the security mostly, both
Glider and Openbot levels your character, they just do it differently, and at some
    points, a bit less/more efficient.

Anyway, back to the point, I really can't wait for this, when you thought OB couldn't
    get better... It did.
FOR A MOMENT, NOTHING HAPPENED. THEN, AFTER A SECOND OR SO, NOTHING CONTINUED TO HAPPEN.

Its certainly true (and we are the first to advertise it) that no one is 100% sure, but I will take 99% for months as an indicator of safety - heck that's what we all do. As for ISX, we both know how long its been and whats what - no debate there and we are rooting for Lax to get it fixed. I just find the tie in to the legal case silly..but being in the middle of it perhaps I have a bigger picture.

Proof of concept by Guobj to show that Glider is infact detectable.
