Release date for WOTLK: November 2008

    OpenBot .NET release =

    Current Month - July

July + 2-3 Months = September or October.

The words "Alpha" and "Beta" (when it comes to this) basically mean the same thing. The program is not ready. It doesnt matter which phase its in because either phase could take forever, take a day, or even never come. When it comes to gaming, Alpha is normally friends/family of the developers. Beta is normally players who have signed up and want in (whether they get in or not depends on if its closed or open beta). If you think of it like that, its always in "Alpha" since they arnt letting you sign up to be in Beta.

Alright, as a last word about WOTLK compatibility issues:

There will be none. There may be a few small things to change here and there, and a wait for nav data for the new zones. But that's about the extent of it. (Aside from waiting on ISXWoW/ISXWarden updates of course)

WOTLK shouldn't impact OB.NET too much in any way.

    large farm

I'd also want to try this out. My guys have tested a good number of the top bots out there from public ones. to private bots.

well dont have 3 posts yet so couldn't post my link buy it's 120+ servers.

    aim: nvcfarm

so if you do plan to have a "stress test" of some sort you have an extra candidate. And could get lots of feedback quickly from other useful features covered by other bots or "potential" useful features.

    I'm our own "stress test".

I'll be running between 20-30 instances of WoW/OB.NET on this PC during testing, as well as a whole bunch more on my other PC's laying around.

Thanks for the offer, but if we don't know you, you'll just be waiting till release like everyone else.

Lolz... Post #1, guys give me your botz plz kthz, i have mass computers. 120+ servers for what? I am pretty sure someone who types like that doesn't have all of that.

Not to shabby, 20-30 instances of wow, You rocking a nice Quad Core, or are you running very low custom resolution sizes to decrease memory usage. I own a computer store, so I am always messing around with new stuff, My current rig I built like 8 months ago, I had like 12 copies of wow running, and it was starting to feel the pain, but it is only a Dual Core 64 bit AMD 6400+, overclocked to like 3.66ghz. Although, since you are a dev, I am sure you got some horsepower behind ya. What do you think the average computer will be capable off with the OB, and multiple instances of wow.

Well, it'll be limited to the number of WoW's you can run really. OB.NET won't take up much memory, or CPU. So it shouldn't really hurt too much.

Same way it has been since the beginning. We don't plan on ever using another protection scheme than ISXWarden, unless something better arises. (Same goes with ISXWoW)

ive heard that OpenBot is very detectable (compared to glider) though because of its code injection... I countered that you always hear about Glider banwaves but he said that OpenBot recently had a banwave...

Which is the truth? Is Glider or OpenBot more detectable? (not talking about if someone walked by you and saw you... I'm talking specifically about Warden (or WoW possibly) detecting that you are using a third party program)

They are both just as detectable. Glider has more bans due to it's userbase. (100k+)

With different methods of carrying out execution, come different protection schemes. Glider doesn't inject, so it's protection is vastly different from that IS/ISXWoW/OB uses.

And you hear more about Glider banwaves because 99% of the ones who get banned are incredibly pissed and "thought they were 100% safe", and then continue to spam.... everything.

not without either risking being hit by the banstick, bypassing Warden yourself, or Apoc coding an anti-detection method.

its basically like running glider without their anti-detect driver (or w/e it was... i dont remember what its called)
