Seems like my 2nd account got banned for botting aswell, got a permement ban on it instantlly, even tho it was my first rule break.

Luckely i payed some dude to bot for me, who lives like.. idk where but it aint logged to my ip. I should easily be able to get it unbanned since i actually never used it myself. This helped me alot, +rep!

Tell the credit card company you canceled a week before and don't understand why you are being charged. This only works ONE time with most companies.

Hey my question would be if it's safe to buy WoW again and enter the same account informations and payment informations.

I read that Blizzard banned accounts that had the same payment informations and i don't want to loose my newly bought copy.

no one really knows how Blizz does it. You probably won't lose it, but on the other hand it's very likely it will be Flagged - watched more closely, etc.

Personally I would stick to gamecards and a different email address.

Alright, I updated the original post with the new info that just came out.

Apparently, it wasn't an update to Warden. Something else was detecting bot users. This is how it slipped by the Glider people and everyone else.

72 hours since my over all 14 hour bot for the first time. - no ban on any accounts.

In high spirits and hope, I'd like to say I'm safe, but I wont say that until this Sunday. I will continue to post updates.


Basically from the looks of it, if you started or did bot ON the day of the ban, BEFORE the ban started, for 14 hours or less. You are safe. (Note: My observation.)

If so, most likely you were not banned as a result of the ban wave.

Apparently they weren't just banning for gliding...a lot of people who bought points through win trading got banned too. Mind you, it was only a 3-hour/3-day and item removal, but it seems they also check out the accounts that they temp banned. My buddy bought points and ended up with a permanent ban because of gold buying he did months ago.

Now, I've been banned for botting before...no big loss really, but my buddy had his s3 n' shit and was quite sad. He took a shot in the dark and called up the customer service line and...cried. Yes, he literally broke down in tears and cried and hyperventalted on the phone. They transfered him to a new person who gave him a lecture on gold buying and yet my buddy kept crying and whining. His perma-ban turned into a 3-hour and had all his gold removed. Strangely enough, they didnt delete his pvp gear.

I always thought the account administrators were locked in a basement somewhere, cut off from phones and the outside world, but from what it sounded like on speaker phone, the guy was an account administrator.

So, lawyer dude, how did this work out exactly? I didn't think that regular customer service reps allowed players to talk to the account admins. Hell, I didn't even think that AAs were in the same building as the customer service reps.
