Got banned aswell.

Botted over 10months, took some rest.. came back and tried the bot for about 2 hours and got busted in that time

Crappy thing is.. I always used the bot on my main account.
So there goes priest and rogue 4 t6 pieces on priest and full s3 rogue!

This was posted on the glider forums from an apparent EU GM:

1. This ban wave is the biggest one in history and it's not over yet.
2. It's not the WARDEN or PRELCH detection
3. 99% of botters are gaining xp only from killing monsters. No logged quests AT ALL (excluding some class qs). NO DUNGEON instances recorded on realm AT ALL. No quest/dungeon drop gear - only BoE. Boar named boar, cat named cat, 85% boted druids have no aquatic form, etc. Over 90% botters are guild less. Realm side pretty-smart AI scripts flag such an account for manual investigation in 90% cases. The 10% are player reports.
4. Manual investigation can be veeeeery long. You can be flagged for ban 3-4 months before next planned ban weave.
5. We ban you in waves - yes. It's just our policy. Incidental bans are ALWAYS because of intensive and multiple GM tickets OR intensive realm economy exploitation.

Don't focus on client-side detection, while most boting signs are noticed by realm-side AI scripts Custom classes won't help you at all.

WE KNOW YOU ARE BOTING AFTER ONE SECOND, BECAUSE OF GLIDER ABNORMAL LOOT STYLE DETECTED BY REALM SIDE SCRIPT FOR AGES

Custom classes doesn't help you at all being more human like. And PPather makes manual detection MUCH easier

All GMs and SSs have a great time reading "We know how to become undetected" posts here.

I used glider Tuesday night, stoped then tried it again find out warden was updated blah blah don't use it. i didn't but i have been checking my email havn't gotten an email and accoutn works.

I bought new cd key's and im ready for glider to be updated. The glider forum's said that late tomorrow a beta will be released and undetected. But might crash / blue screen.

Meh, my account never had a warning or such, but it was perma banned because of the fact that I used glider, got no suspension, no warning, nothing, just instantly the perma ban hammer.

Do you really think that they will unban it just because I say "This is the first time I've offended the rules with glider, just give me a 72 hours suspension and no perma ban pls?" Blizzard is just screwed up and don't follow their own rules when it's not positive for them, that's just my opinion about them.

wow, good thing i play on a private server don't got to worry about getting banned because i can just make another account lol :P

yay i survived some how :S i did some serious botting up untill like 2 weeks ago with a rogue which i got 40 - 70, 10k gold and full pvp gear lmao! would leave it on overnight and all day! didnt really care if it got banned but now that it didnt i think il keep him for wotlk and not bot anymore. even crazier is that this account was suspended for 3 hours becasue of botting and not actually banned :S i had a chat log report when i came back one day where a gm had spoken to me lol. am sooooooo lucky oO

I had three accounts banned not really, that bothered. I've started again with the new glider update. I'll be 70 again in no time!
