All the Info You Need on the Ban Wave

Wonderful, just got innerspace two days ago and now my mage is banned. Yeah I know it's my own fault but still...

So says someone who routinely visits a site based upon the exploitation of Blizzard software? As much as I dislike flat-out account scammers, it is these types of hypocrites who have truly no place in this topic or this board in general.

People who have lost months or perhaps years of hard work today do not need some random scrub undermining them and rubbing this unfortunate event in their faces.

Here is my email I just sent to them:

I am writing this email regarding my account ******. I have recently been banned for a third party program? I am outraged! My account is stolen from me and I have to suffer once again!? I changed my password to prevent outside sources from accessing my account. If you check your logs you will be able to see that as soon as I realized someone had access to my account I did everything in my power to take control back of it.

I called Blizz and they said that I should check for a key logger. I ran a virus scan and what do you know. I was infected with a key logger known as “Armadax”. I quickly got the tools to quarantine and remove it. I feel that it is my fault that I compromised the security of my account but I think it is unjust that you banned me. Is there anyway you can check the logs and see that I was not the person using this third party program?

My WoW account was not the only thing taken. My person and work email were also hijacked. There is so much that I am dealing with and this would help a lot if we could sort this out.

Please investigate this further for me, as I really believe that I was hacked. Whoever got the key logger on my computer is the one using the third party program. I only play legit.

man, this ban wave was serious! i lost my main!!! noooss!!!! lol, but i had a pack mule account just incase which happened to be holding 2k gold, all of my gold i don't really have a chance. so i'm gonna go w/ the story of, "i went on vacation and when i came bak my house had been broken in, and there had apparently been a robbery" lol. hopefully tht will work :P

i got banned and hadn't botted on my main account in probably over 5 months.
it's only been a month since i started playing again.
and now my priest is RIP

AH, my warrior just dinged 70. He had 375 bsing, and had skill hearld. Oh well, i got banned. Anyway's i see this as a end to Glider, and open bot for a very long time. Their fully detected from what i hear now. So, let's say glider team goe's back to the shop. This will take them more then likely more then a month till they get a completely new source and everybody's on their way botting.

So, after being a happy customer with WoWGlider for a few year's. Going through banwave's like this 3 time's.

If glider does come back, i will def bot again.

But, the factor is time till glider get's fixed. And openbot.

So, I just spent 25 dollars on glider 3 days ago just now getting into the whole 'botting' thing. I botted a single character for 14 hours in total. But the account isn't banned (yet) luckly it was a secondary character, although for half an hour I did get my fishing from 150 to 180 on my main character.

Any thoughts? I haven't gotten the ban hammer yet, but do you think its coming slow and steady, or am I safe? ** Uninstalling Glider now **

-- Any safe / working botting programs? I did my fair share of level 1 to 60, then 60 to 70. I don't have the damn time to sit at my PC leveling another character.

This is our third or fourth ban wave.

You should be safe, just delete all you're glider folder's. Profile's (.xml) File's are ok tho. Blizzard can ban by .xml or almost ever person that used spreadsheat ect would be banned.

For right now, just stay off you're account's. Just try loging onto the forum's periodically to see if it's banned.

For all we know blizzard's shit list can be still going.

It is unfortunate that you just got glider and you have to see what happen's every year - two year's.

Glider more then likely wouldn't just say Halt, and run off with the 10 million in profit's they made.

They are great people, they don't let their customer's down.

Scratch that. I bought it 24 hours ago (probably less) -- 14 hours botting on a secondary account, 30 minutes on my main holy priest. - all this taken place before I heard of the giant ban spree.
