All the Info You Need on the Ban Wave

I started using glider today(picked the best day evah!)
Only used glider for maybe half an hour or so just to test it... no ban just yet! I hope i won't get a perma ban again...

When will this ban wave be over?

No doubt about the ban wave I just got glider used it overnight and I come back and my account is BANNED!

got 1 account banned the other which i botted on bout 2 weeks ago was fine. i'll get it unbanned though easily. Although this does give me a chance to catch up in school hehe thanks blizzard.

My acc got banned had it since 05 or 06, stupidly bought glider and used it to level my fishing. Sucks but i knew there was a risk but didn't know anything would happen so soon. doubt ill ever see it again.

I do not understand. So you are qqing about being banned for cheating ? I think you did know that glider wasnt allowed. I appreciate this banwave, finally trade /yell /whisper spamming will stop. I hope that this banwaves will occur each week.

And yeah I dont like botters, I hate them. Ive reported many many botters... and they got banned (YAY)

And no this is not big loss for blizzard, its a big gain for them and the game. Botting was a plague.

As far as I see it, there are two lessons to be learned from these posts:

1. When you bot, you knowingly do so while risking ALL of your associated accounts...so claiming innocence in the face of guilt is futile.

2. Always have a backup plan. This is why I always used Glider with more than one IP address, just in case I could use the hacking excuse with a degree of credibility. Once, it did not work, but it did work in another instance. I just had 2 level 70 accounts banned, so we will see if one or both is able to circumvent this banwave.

I repeat, the energy you guys are spending complaining can be better invested towards efforts to reclaim your accounts. Once again, appear calm and focus upon the "facts" that you were hacked by a keylogger and you do not know what is going on and hope for the best...the more time you take to do this, the less of a chance that anyone will be sympathetic to your arguments.

I was testing warden today with a trial account on my router. Using a process hiding agent.

Just to let you guys know that using this isn't a clever way to get around.
