I just wasn't aware that a regular billing rep could unban an account; thought only the AAs could. Although I suppose his email might have just gotten the perma-ban message so they could investigate and then gave him a 3-hour. I know when I reported my account getting hacked they sent the perma-ban email and then unbanned me a few days later w/ items returned. They really need to make a "Your account is locked for your own protection while we investigate" emails instead of scaring the booboo out of a person.

What? Billing reps can't ban or unban accounts.

Only AA can.

As I said, the chances of being unbanned if you were banned in the bot ban wave are incredibly slim.

This method works best when you are banned for powerleveling, account renting, honor farming, or any activity involving someone else on your account.

I lost 3 accounts in the ban wave, I sent out emails but I don't reckon I'll get em back. No worries alrady started a new rogue.

no joke never used glider or anything. I got banned I think i was a maistake but i was keylogged awhile back might be the cause hopefully everything works out for me i was on a real lol pop server with full t4. Making me pretty decent.

When Blizzard caught me, they just suspended me for like 2 weeks or around there.

Lawl, we all know a lot of WoW players have no life, so you send them and email like the one kid who said he had no life outside WoW and if his account wasn't unbanned he'd commit suicide. I'll link the story here: Blizzard takes banned player's suicide threat seriously - WOW Insider
Just do what he did, if you're that desprate for it back. Luckily I only hack on Private servers and not retail.

Never got banned from the game itself, but the tactic given by Verye also works on getting back your WoW forum access. Be humble and pretend you are an unsuspecting victim who is scared of the blizzard account review stazi and doesnt know what's happening.

The apperantly get a kick out of it.
