New temp ban only post here!

Well boys, just checked. Today I received this "ban." on two of my accounts. One of which i haven't used in well over 2 weeks.

Oh well, time to move on from the game LOL

After the initial "failed to get game data" i decided to create a new account. pokefarmed it on walk settings overnight to level 17. Just received the "failed to get game data" on that one too. Im not grinding my way back to a decent level manually so i guess its time to move on from the game too.

Account 1 - Necro + snipe, normal speeds, not aggressive, only level 29 - Can't retrieve player data as of 2 hours ago.
Account 2 - Necro, no sniping, slow speed, as human like as I could make it, level 21 - Softban at 11am today and as of 2 hours ago also can't retrieve player data.
(Never visited any gym on either)

Looks like they've found a good way to detect bots, but are slow to push out bans.
I'm disabled and housebound, so using the bot was the only way I could collect Pokemon. Oh well.. you win some, you lose some.

All of these people are using Necrobot and wondering why they are getting banned.. I switched to Poke Buddy after I got banned for using Necro, and none of the 4 accounts ive botted to 30 have been banned yet. I mean yeah, I have had IP issues and soft bans, but nothing that wasnt fixed within an hour.

1 acc lvl 31 botted with haxton and necro and nox banned 300KPH
1 acc lvl 29 botted with necro banned 300KPH
1 acc lvl 21 botted with necro normal 50KPH
1 acc lvl 13 botted with pokefarmer normal 50KPH

No one's wondering why, however, what we are wondering is how. That said, if you breeze through the thread and various posts, it's evident that Necro was not the only bot effected.

I did run a test account after the ban scare, and that hit a softban after 18 hours of human-like operation. After 12 hours had passed I tried to log in again, but got the failed to retrieve player data message.

Some people, apparently.
I was softbanned (catchflee) but it turned into failed to retrieve player data just 2 hours ago.

2 my account banned because manual snipping

lvl 30++ account, not botting but snipper with fake gps

snipping with necro bot in other account no problems

1 account lv 30 with pokestop banned and solved after 1 day

I'm botting atm with PokeNinja and I'm atm lvl 20 with around 22-29k exp per hour. Only thing I'm going to do is never bot when I'm not there and can check fairly quickly.
