Just tested Herald of Thunder with a new client and with all options checked..except the two ZERO options.
NO crash whatsoever.
You shouldn't be allowed to download this tool, ...

Thx for update 
Had a couple of crashes during mapping. Tried without dead bodies (every other options checked), no crashes it seems. Could be the issue, if the crashes didn't have a different cause.

x32: No particles,shadows/fog disabled >> Dried lake testing flameblast >> 60~70 fps idle,20~45fps in combat sometimes drops to 5~10.
x64: No particles,shadows/fog disabled >>Dried lake testing flameblast >> 150 fps idle,60~ fps in combat,lowest drop was 20~30.
I had no idea my hardware is capable of running this game so smoothly.Why the hell was ggg stuck so many years with directx9 ?

It's everything about programming skills.
If i remember correctly from what Chris said on reddit, they have hired a new skilled programmer who made dx11-x64 possible.

Ok so I just discovered something very worrying.Everything works absolutely fine as I described in the post above me with great stable FPS on x64 mode UNTIL I alt-tab the game.After doing that the game permanently drops to 30 fps and can't go beyond 40.
Does this happen because it swaps to the integrated graphic card and when I get back into the game screen it never switches back to the dedicated one?

nope, game switches to windowed mode dx11. for example Dx11 fullscreen is NOT fullscreen until I press alt+enter... :: Pinball Arcade General Discussions

dunno what is causing this but wondering it its a mod that i try using that is broken atm. finished applying everything. go to login and the maps completely black except for players.
using fullbright, zoom and other stuff
edit:i think it was because i applied the remove fog and shadows or something. i didnt apply it this time and it worked fine

Apply fog & shadows and wait for image to load, until is clear. It's only happening for the first time in an area.
This is because of the shaders, once the shader is written in shaders folder, you wont get this glitch anymore.

i dont know why but when i click checkboxes it doesn't check. Do i need to install something to make it work properly, i installed NET already.

Is it possible to add an option to disable only shadows in dx 11 and not fog or anything else? I dont want to manipulate the game im just angry GGG took this option to disable shadows away and ruin my performance.

You can delete the fog.ffx from:
- config\Shaders\restoreDefault\Shaders\Renderer...Fog.ffx
- config\Shaders\removeEffects\Shaders\Renderer...Fog.ffx
But before delete, be sure to restore the fog.
