Weapon question - Important -

Hi guys, i'm looking at 2 wepons and are a bit confused

Weapon 1 : say it has 900 dps with stats. 100 crit dam - 42% dam

Weapon 2 : say it has 900 Dps with stats. 100 crit dam


lets say my base DPS is 50k, due to all armors etc.

now those 42% would they kick in, and give me a higher base dam, due to it calculates 42% dam bonus from my base dam.

or will the weapon 2 give me exact same dam, if you guys understand what i mean.

the 42% dam is applied to the actual damage range of your weapon.

if you mean +42% damage affix - then its alredy added to that dps that you see on weapon - so...both will give you same dps overall ( without looking at lowest and highest dmg )

probably weapon 1 is much lower iLvL item?

hmm damm so hard to explain, ok put it this way.

imagen you have 2 chars naked, you hand them both, 1 of each sword.

so char 1 : has weapon 1
char 2 : weapon 2

now we give them armors on, that would increase there dps with 10k, due to the stats on gear.

now would char 1 have more dps, due to the 42% dam, calculate itself into the new 10k dps gear added

or would they both still remain at exact same damage, if char 2 got the same equip added.

that +42% dmg is affix for weapon dmg only - not overall, so dps will be the same for both chars
